Have a new question about EKX X20 ebike and all the videos about this bike is maybe in russian and I don't understand what they are saying. But a lot of these videos the owner of the bike was disassembling the back hub motor for some reason and trying to fix something. Today my back wheel started to make some noise and I thought it was the new bike rack I attached to the bike earlier. But I'd tighten all the screws and look closely while twisting the throttle and the noise sounds like it is coming from the hub motor. It's sounds like something is a loose inside the motor or somehow the motor work itself a loose. Does this problem sounds familiar to you. My bike just recently went a little above 100 miles on it.
This bike is awesome, I just bought one from "newegg" for $1,199.00 with 3 warranty $1,400 - 2000watt this video is correct the bike goes 32-33 MPH I did get it to 35MPH downhill also you can convert the 55 KM to MPH ..I love and highly recommend it am sure the 2024 has the same motor as this 2023 E-bike, great for creek trails and going to work and back very fun and turns a lot of heads.
@@Chris_Paul1 Yes. A motor can't use 2000w if the controller can't feed it 2000w. Even the Ariel Rider Kepler is only rated at 1000w but it's controller is 33amps so 33x52v is about 1700w peak. If it is 28amp controller like this other dude said it's peak watts would be 1350w so that would do 32mph. If you want a 2000w(3300w peak) motor that can get you to 45mph just buy an NBPower kit off Amazon for 450 bucks. Buy a battery and get a decent bike and build your own that's way better for cheaper. There are assembly videos on RUclips with a few tools it should only take 3-4 hours work.
@@Chris_Paul1you could get a 2000w controller for down the line that's what I did, I get 40-45mph, it cost me maybe 150 pounds for the one I needed just did some RUclips of how to change the settings and it was sorted. Well I went for a 6000w 48v controller similar price to 3000w for incase I want to upgrade it to a dual 3000w motor
How can the ebike legally say it's a 2000 Watt Motor but in real world it only performs like a 1200 Watt motor because the controller limits the power?

One thing is certain, they do not have clear understanding of customer service or technical support.
Yeah I think their limitation is English, I tried to ask what the max input current is recommended for the battery, as I am looking for the 30ah one, can u see what the battery says for max recommended input current is in amps? Cuz slow charging 30ah at 3a charging is not ideal

They lied than big time about the motor. It's actually the controller that determines the speed not the bigger hub motor. They should had replaced that controller for the bigger hub motor which now seems like a scam.
What do you think about upgrading the controller? is that possible on this particular model if the AMP controller is still it's greatest weakness, (it's BS they still charge you more for the 2K watt motor if it's all smoke and mirrors)

Depends on the battery size. I have the largest which is 30ah. The manufacturer states around 50 miles range which it seems to be capable. I do pedal quite a bit but seems to have better range then all my ebikes with pedals. It can easily double the range of a lectric 2.0.
Fellow biker, your Fat bike will never go over 32 mph, because it's not a 2000 W, given the size of the motor which seems to be the same as the one I have on my Fat bike which is on the base of a folding MX 01 and which was given according to the technical announcements of different sellers between 1000 and 2000 W while the motor was always the same, and in reality they are only 750 Watts and they are Bafang motors and they are reduced , while the real 1000 W and more, are completely different motors, less thick but with a larger diameter because they are no longer reduced. Only the fork is different between a 1000 W and 1500 and 2000 W advertised and therefore the motor never changes it is always 750 W and the battery capacities were also misleading, my 2 batteries were given for 48 Volts and 13, 4 Ah in reality they make barely 10 ah, because they are equipped with Chinese cells. Now I notice that on new models like yours, they finally put Japanese cells, Samsung or Panasonic depending on the power of the motors and the voltage of the battery. And since these batteries that go in the frame had little autonomy while pedaling, I installed a large 52 Volt battery suspended under the frame. With the original batteries I went up to a good 45 km/h GPS in assistance 5 or even a little more times, and with this 52 Volt battery I went up to a maximum of 51 km/h GPS. Regarding the size of the motors according to their power, you will be able to see it on AliExpress, there are sellers who put a whole series of motors from 250 W to 5000 W and you will see that from 1000 W the motors are no longer sized the same and they are fully magnetic and no longer have reduction gears like the big motor of my Bomber which is a QS Motor of 8 kw nominal and 72 V nominal or as a spare KIT for my Fat bike which is also a 1500W non-reduced motor. Here is the 1500 W spare KIT that I bought and presented on video and the motor with the rim weighs 6.5 kg because a real 1500 W is heavy, lol! : fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005002047374625.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.75.61005e5bS6gbnH&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra And here are 2 of my videos on my Fat bike, my presentation video and a video after improvements and you will see that your engine is the same as mine and that we are far from a 2000 W : ruclips.net/video/3DHCMwdRPfc/видео.html ruclips.net/video/WlXIERQeONE/видео.html

Hopefully, for my sake I just order the bike and one thing I notice when I seen riders riding that bike who was tall it seemed that there knees were coming close to the handle bars. I stand 6' 1" and
My weight is over 200lbs. Maybe when I received my bike I may have to buy a longer seat post.
Cool bike! What's it called so I can check it out?
can you wheelie the x 20?
How much was it?
1650 was my total
Not happy about the speed my synergy will do 35 Kay and it is a 750w .
They lied than big time about the motor. It's actually the controller that determines the speed not the bigger hub motor. They should had replaced that controller for the bigger hub motor which now seems like a scam.
What do you think about upgrading the controller? is that possible on this particular model if the AMP controller is still it's greatest weakness,
(it's BS they still charge you more for the 2K watt motor if it's all smoke and mirrors)
I am looking at this bike I'm 6 ft six would it be to small?
No actually it’s a bit big for me, I’d say anybody under 5’6 it would be to big for. 6 foot would be fine, even taller.
@@ebikeaddict436 Thank you , so many options , i think I will end up with two bike,s

Everyone here looking for a new bike do NOT get a E Tek Hunter. They’re $5,000 hunks of aluminum. The manufacturer does not stand by their product or warranty.
Did you provide a link where to purchase both of your eBikes featured on this video ❓ Please if yes, would you please resend to me by replying to this comment 🙏🙏🙏Thank you in advance for your time, and consideration……
Are you talking mph ?
Yea mph, it does 32mph
how many watts
For a 2kw motor it looks small....
It is reductor
how to unlock it?
how much range?

And here are 2 of my videos on my Fat bike, my presentation video and a video after improvements and you will see that your engine is the same as mine and that we are far from a 2000 W :
