So nice to see these oldies but goodies running again. Love the Lionel T rail track. That stuff is getting very hard to find at any price. Very enjoyable, thanks
I know I've said this before, but the production quality of your videos is impressive. The level, well mixed audio allows me to start them playing and go about my business in the kitchen, for example. It's almost like I've got my own world class layout to enjoy, without all the work. Thanks for doing all the work!
Thanks! I know that I must be doing something right. My mission is to operate as many trains as possible, even ones that most collectors would not dare, Such as Lionel Scale Hudsons. In my Hafner and a few other videos I have operated wind-ups on T-Rail. Not sure if anyone else has done that! Glad to hear that they are entertaining for you. My hope is also to inspire others to operate their trains, that is what they were made for.
Thanks for watching. I grew-up on AC 3-rail and find the old motors run fine with proper maintenance. The main problems with prewar motors are the diecast wheels getting metal fatigue and the brittle insulation on old wiring.
@@JFLionelT-RailOperator thanks for the reply I understand i also do proper maintenance on my motors too although i model in 'HO' scale i still like watching old toy trains built before my time. a model railroader worst nightmare is zinc rot that happened to me too that's what you have to watch out for. also did you know that you can run DC current on three rail i should have mentioned that earlier. have a nice day.
Every time I watch one of your videos I'm amazed at how extensive your collection is. Thanks for sharing it with us viewers.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it.
This collection is always so astonishing. Hopefully generations are in line to care for it - or open a museum?? Just , wow.
Thanks for your kind comments.

Thanks for watching. Some of these oldies can be a real challenge to get to run, but usually I succeed.
@@JFLionelT-RailOperator Glad to hear that.
Really like the Hiawatha set. A touch of class.
Thanks for watching. The Hiawatha is my favorite streamliner, a work of art.

Great video as always, keep them coming.
As Ernie Ford always said......"Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise." Thanks for watching.
Always a pleasure.
Thanks for watching.
Ao many nice trains that hudson looks like its 100 years old.. super nice buddy 😊👍
Thanks for your comments. Most of the trains are 80 to 90 years old.
Another great video!!
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Had i modeled in 'O' gauge the only thing i would done is upgrade that layout to DC that makes the motor last longer.
