Thanks for the shoutout for Farm Rescue! As a volunteer for 5 years - it's a ton of fun for a retiree! You meet the salt of the earth and always great food wherever you go. Still friends after these years!
Oooh that fence row asparagus is the best! From the look of the stalks it looks like it was planted by the birds long ago...maybe before you were born Cole! Had no idea anyone still hunted for them. Yum! Do you guys morel mushroom hunt too (although it may be too dry this year in your neighborhood)?
we used to always help a neighbor that was sick or a lost of a family member I was 8 and my dad had a severe heart attack and in one day everyone showed up and planted the farm we had this was back when my dad was farming pretty large and they helped us with our hogs and cattle and when fall came here they all were back and harvested the crops those were days when we all helped each other
Farm Rescue sounds like a wonderful organization. A few years ago a farmer had his tractor jacked up to work on it. He was alone and the tractor fell on him. His entire cotton crop was ready for harvest. All the cotton farmers got together and literally stripped his cotton in 2 nights. They had helicopter video of the process which was so totally cool because cotton is harvested at night. There were so many harvesters it looked like Las Vegas. The farmer lived but with permanent injuries. Thank goodness when he hadn’t come in for breakfast the next morning she went looking for him.
The Doritos eating technique from Brian is priceless. There are some areas of the video that make me laugh out loud. LOL in other words. The fresh asparagus looks appealing. 😊
Brian is just practicing for his 70s when he will be driving down the highway with his blinkers on for miles.. Always good to practice to make perfect!
Love the moistness and Brian’s love of the word moist! Good to see your mum too and you get to spend some quality time with her after a busy day. Lots of love to all and hope that taco salad was good xxx
PS - Brian, you’re Dorito story was hilarious and priceless. They need to make an advertisement like that but it needs to be put out by Lays (or some other competitor! ) I remember when you bought a bag of chips and it was full of CHIPS Not air !! I love chips in it disgusts me to open up a bed this is a test if you could send it nowadays. I remember my parents, who were avid coffee drinkers, … Folgers to be exact… Came home from the grocery store and were so angry over the fact that there a pound of coffee was no being sold as 13 ounces with a “pound price” & they were being ripped off of there is 3 ounces!! They were really furious because that was 3 ounces of their coffee they needed every day. They were hard-working farmers and money was tight raising their 12 children and family and paying for the farm. I feel so bad for them but didn’t really understand it at the time. As I watch marketing tricks become more of an issue these days and the prices of groceries and everything else skyrocket, the value of your little scared is even that MUCH MORE SIGNIFICANT (& STILL VERY HILARIOUS (😁♥️)
Brian never ceases to amaze me, a truly amazing man. The man can sustain life with half an ounce diet of Doritos, and his impersonations were over the top. I did not know he could speak fluent Duck either. Maybe he could play the local comedy club. Thats it they could build a stage at Storla Station, naw. I'm sure its always a comedy when Cole and Brian they show at the station anyway.
You All Brighten my day when I watch your videos… I can’t help but smile and I can’t help but laugh sometimes… I love your Dad’s impressions.. but a good impression is doesn’t have to tell you who it is and I will tell you that without him telling me I’m new who he was impersonating he did a good job know if you could just get a little more content added in to his impressionism, He’ll be doing Great! LOVED THE SONG OF THE DAY!! Are used to own every one of their albums that’s one of my favorite songs because he had so many that I had many favorite songs I guess what I’m trying to say. Your Sense of humor is GREAT.. sometimes I watch your videos to and three times over just for the humor alone and this particular video is one of those I would watch over and over. Great signed on that wild asparagus… Sure made me hungry for tacos and asparagus. I remember on our farm the first time we had our first picking asparagus nobody complained and the Bowl is always empty on the first passing!! So glad you guys got rain and enough to see standing rain & SUPER HAPPY You’re going to get more! God is good and he does answer prayers❣️🙏 Thanks for the reminder about “ Farm Rescue” ❣️❣️I just encourage everybody who can to donate whatever they can because I grew up on a farm and there’s nothing worse than when you cannot get your crops in or out. And he’s absolutely right these Farms are so much bigger now that it’s Not easy to just drop your farm and go help somebody else nor do you necessarily even know your form neighbor When they live so far away in many cases. Plus I have learned that men are not quick to ask for help let alone see a doctor so I’m so glad that farm rescue is available now. I remember one time in my life on the farm when if it was not for good neighbors that are crops would not have been harvested!!!! My father had a heart attack of course nobody told us then what it happened and he was in his early 40s which was very young and we were a very big family and a very big farm, but not compared to you guys… But regardless the crops have got to get out when they need out!!!We also live in the Midwest and you often times only have a narrow amount of days when you can get your crops planted or your crops harvested before the weather turns on you again. So I ask I love you too do what you can and maybe pray about this first if you feel you need to but tell others at the very least because many people don’t know about this and we are saving not only the farm & farmers, but also ourselves because we gain from what the farmers are able to produce. God bless you guys for all that you do and for your wonderful videos. You bring a lot of happiness into my home❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️😊♥️
I'm not sure of the title but there's some country song where they say I'd like to check you for ticks. That should probably be Miss Tami's song of the day before she lets you back in the house, Brian !
I have not used the big planters when I helped out my Uncle Freddy on his farm. . . . there were none, back then. However, more recently I was riding with my cousin as he was planting a few years ago. We came to a spot in the field where he started going around the area and he added, "I don't want to get too close. It takes about 4 hours if I get stuck". I did not have to ask how he knew. 🤔
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting and enjoyable for sure. Loved the drone footage. It was great. The drone footage with the music is absolutely wonderful. Reminds me of farming and America and what we are all about!!!!! Thanks!!!!!! Great to see your mom again. Nice that Tammy takes part in some of the videos. You and mom need time together. Brian your Reagan and Donald Duck was outstanding. You had me chuckling. Keep your farming job though. Excellent song of the day. Great music in that song. Thanks Brian. You will need an agent soon to manage your song business. Just saying. The asparagus you and mom picked looks really good. Got me hungry now. Brian, thanks for going through the planter operation like you did. Sitting in the cab and not having to get out is labor saving. Only have to get out to check the seed status. Wow. Back in our day we had no cab and getting the planter ready was a half hour high labor process. I can remember when we got a right row planter and we thought we were big time. Oh my. Been there done that. Liked this video. Big variety in it with all kinds of activities. The lady at the gas station was surprised though. Ha. Good one Cole. Lots of fencing supplies at Storla Station. Busy work for the summer. Digging up old water lines is no fun. Hard dirty work. Good luck on that one. Lots of mud this time of year. Hard to keep anything clean. Wow. Caves out again. They sure find the ways to get out. Never ending job. Your planting looked great Brian. First step in the farming year. Always feels good to get the seeds in the ground. About it for now. I will stop before this ends of being a book. Sorry for the length but your videos get me wound up. Loved farming in the day. You both take care and be safe. LOOKING forward to the next video. Thanks for everything Cole and Brian and the star of the show Tammy!!!!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Brian is an amazing rancher/ farmer. He has the perfect combination of nice but don’t piss me off. I suspect Brian has been doing “Donald Duck” since school. It’s a little too good for a casual try. He’s a great Dad! His family is everything. I have a feeling Brian and Jeff could open a can of whop ass when they were younger, but also be great fun to party with. It’s great to watch smart farmers and how hard they work. I can see their Dad probably had his way, and Brian had to prove his Bull program all on his own. That’s about it ...
Tami and Cole. How you and your wonderful mom had brought back so many memories of going out and picking asparagus. As I can remember as a little kid me and my siblings. Would get gunny sacks from Grandpa and Dad. Then walk up and down the irrigation ditches or wherever we would think asparagus would be growing. Then return back home and give the gunny sacks to grandpa and daddy. They would clean it up as we clean ourselves up and then they would give it to Grandma and mama. To put in jars and can them. Oh how I miss him days.👍👍👍👍👍🤗 also Brian keep your chin up and hopefully it'll be a wonderful year for you guys
There is so much to enjoy in this great video. Funny dad, laughing at himself Cole, sweet happy mom, friendly dog and just great video work. Sonne Farms family fun along with good farming. And that asparagus, everything in this video except the kitchen sink. Love you all.
All my favorite Sonne things! Storlaaa station (we got a costumer, followed by man giggles 🤭), Brian splaining tractor dealy bobbers and song of the day, aaaand mom and Cole finally picking asparagus! Yes! Makes your peepee smell funny. Loved this happy video!
Reagan and Donald Duck were both pretty good. Keep expanding the repertoire, Brian! Glad to see the fields are ready for planting...in most places. Crazy how you've gone from bone-dry to standing water in such a short time. Thanks for another entertaining video. I've heard that the family that videos together stays together!
Wild asparagus! When my husband was a kid, he and his brothers would go down to the drainage ditches and pick wild asparagus. There was lots to be had and it was delicious according to him! So cool that you guys do it too. Nice seeing your mom!
You guys have got me in stitches! Between Ellie at the beginning, Cole yelling at that (presumably) nice lady, and then Brian with the song of the day and the Doritos. Hahahahaha. Glad you guys have finally got enough rain to get planting! After that tilling, that dirt looks real nice!
So HAPPY You all got plenty of rain as you went from way to dry to maybe too much... Living in California they are limiting lawn watering to 2 days a week for 8 mins only... Love your impersonations Brian... Love watching you & Cole work... Wedding coming up pretty soon Cole... Sending Prayers of Peace & Hassle free plans... GBY ALL 🙏❤️💙💖💙🐂🤗✝️
Glad that you guys were able to get into the fields. Good job taking your mom out to get Asparagus and spending quality time with your mom. God bless praying for the farmers who just had some bad weather and suffered some damage.
I do enjoy watching the machine work, planting, tilling, cutting, raking etc... you get the point. Always like watching adorable little Ellie. Brian picked another good song, Bob Seger's like a rock is great. Your mom beat you to the sign off, hee hee. Thanks for sharing, have a great week, or rest of week.
Bob Seger’s “Like a Rock” lyrics are great. Brian Sonne, ‘The Music Professor’ continues to educate us. As I’ve said before, pause the video and ask your music streaming service to play the ‘song of the day’. Thanks Brian!
I love watching your vids, brings back memories of my youth. I just visited friends and family up in west Texas, they are really hurting for for water. Well keep up the good work. Good to see you getting wet.
Thanks Guys for all your hard work ! We Love Brian ! Ask Your Dad if he ever heard this little rhyme " weather its cold or weather its hot weather is weather , weather or not . God bless your family's .
Great seeing Mom in this video. Thanks for sharing your family with us on this channel? Terrific drone video of critters and Brian being outstanding in his field. Great demonstration of seeder boom deployment. Will you be moving out of you parents’ house before your wedding? Let your lady have first option to move into your house or you will never hear the end of comments about how you took the “prime” whatever before she had a chance... :-) Wishing you, your family and future in-laws a blessed week and a gentle spring season. Peace brother
Are classes required or some sort of training whenever you purchase new equipment like that planter? I am so in love with John Deere farming equipment. It was good to see your mother. Tell her I said hello from Indiana.
As for the blinkers maybe the Blinker fluid box is probably empty .. find the blinker fluid box fill it up with blinker fluid an if you dont have any jugs of blinker fluid check an see if storla station has any.. ive heard they carry alot of different products !!😁👍cheers boys 😁
People have no idea how good that fresh asparagus is. I find the most where the cows congregate in the riverbottom during winter. Good fertilizer and a spring rain is all you need.
Man you guys I just really enjoy you guys you know that, I watch every single video you put one up and I'm usually the first one because I sit here in the evening in front I see the notification come up I'm on it. Man Bryan you're obviously a brilliant man you run a big business there very successfully but your kind of goofy too and I just love that about you man. I so much to look forward to every single video I just wish you guys would tell me whether you're ranche is north south east or west of Mount Vernon so I can find you on Google Earth thank you for that consideration best regards Dave
I remember well when Chevy used "Like A Rock" song in their tv commercials. Their PR group had a winner with that one!! I, along with bunches of others ran out and bought that cd.
Great channel. Love watching you guys! Couple things, though; 1; I wouldn't have shown people that you have wild asparagus, or you're going to have uninvited people walking your tree lines. 2; Not sure where you are getting your continuous fence, but Interstate Auction Center by Brandon South Dakota always seems to have piles of it on their auctions. You're either going to have to buy a lot more fence, or start raising a breed of critter than doesn't get out all the time! 🤣🤣
I was going to ask how your knee was Cole as I had bilateral jaw replacement surgery 3 weeks before your knee surgery. I had a lot of down time n your video's kept me occupied, (and from going insane with boredom 😅). So hope your knee worries are done n you're ready for a fantastic planting n harvest season. 👍 So good to see beautiful Mrs Tami n Ellie. And Mr Brian multitasking of planting, phone deals n snack education Dorito's style. Love it all! 😁🙏💙🦘
Nice to see the drone in operation again. As always, I appreciate these videos. By the way, Brian, add John Wayne to your repertoire of impersonations ... "aaah haa, sure looks like somebody cut that fence alright Miss Kitty".
Thanks for the shoutout for Farm Rescue! As a volunteer for 5 years - it's a ton of fun for a retiree! You meet the salt of the earth and always great food wherever you go. Still friends after these years!
That is awesome!
"Don't forget to slow down for that big ditch"
Sounds like cole has some experience NOT slowing down for said ditch.. LOL
Great seeing tammy aswell
Sure is nice to see that planter going into soil with moisture in it. Was looking dicey there for a while.
Asparagus is the best early vegetable. Praise to Tami. And praise to Cole for spending quality time with Mom.
Amen it was beautiful to see mother and son doing quality time together rare sight these days
Oooh that fence row asparagus is the best! From the look of the stalks it looks like it was planted by the birds long ago...maybe before you were born Cole! Had no idea anyone still hunted for them. Wow, lovely soil, lovely drone footage, AND, asparagus!
Hi Mom!!! Good to see you on the video today!!!!
Brian Sonne. one of a kind. Always leaves me smiling .

Your Donald Duck talk "quacked" me up. 🤣
I totally loved the Ronald Regan “well…” and that’s all he had for now. Brian is so funny, I love him, he’s adorbs.
The Doritos eating technique from Brian is priceless. There are some areas of the video that make me laugh out loud. LOL in other words. The fresh asparagus looks appealing. 😊
😆 I was laughing about the proper way to eat a one ounce bag of Doritos hahaha!
Bean dip goes well with Doritos
One Dorito? We get two Doritos, but we have to pay for the extra-large size,
"We got a Customer!!!!" I fell off my chair!!!
Brian is just practicing for his 70s when he will be driving down the highway with his blinkers on for miles.. Always good to practice to make perfect!
Great job, Cole!! Always enjoy seeing your Mom! The wild asparagus looked delicious!!!
is it organic?
Wild asparagus actually started by seed by settlers. Birds moved it around. 18 pounds went out last Saturday to the church. Not wild lol
Love the moistness and Brian’s love of the word moist! Good to see your mum too and you get to spend some quality time with her after a busy day. Lots of love to all and hope that taco salad was good xxx
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for the sacrifice you make for us.
PS - Brian, you’re Dorito story was hilarious and priceless. Great video 👍😏👍
Voice imitations and the "how to eat a bag of dorito's" was pure gold!! Great job guys!!
What a treat to see your mom!! Hope we get to see more of her.
Now I know where you get your good looks from!
My dad used to call asparagus “spare grass” one of my fave vegetables! It was nice to see your mom and hear about farm rescue!
Love how you helped Tami look for asparagus, we have wild ones in our back yard and started 34 years ago looking for it, nothing better!!
Tammy-great seeing you. Asparagus is my favorite veggie. Thank you for taking us with for harvesting them.
Thank you again Brian, Cole, Jeff and the brains behind the outfit, the Ladies!! Dedicated to the men, "Cows Around" by Cord Lund. Enjoy!!

Cole its nice your mom is getting in the videos. You guys seem like a great family.
Thanks so much
I’ve never seen wild asparagus, that was nice to see your mother in the video as always!
It is a great day when a new Sonne Farms video is posted!
I'm not sure of the title but there's some country song where they say I'd like to check you for ticks.
That should probably be Miss Tami's song of the day before she lets you back in the house, Brian !
Nice to see your mom in the video Cole
I have not used the big planters when I helped out my Uncle Freddy on his farm. . . . there were none, back then. However, more recently I was riding with my cousin as he was planting a few years ago. We came to a spot in the field where he started going around the area and he added, "I don't want to get too close. It takes about 4 hours if I get stuck". I did not have to ask how he knew. 🤔
Thanks for sharing. That asparagus looked mighty good. God bless.
Steve.
Hey Cole, it's good for your soul to experience a dose of humility once in awhile. Have to say I enjoyed your laughing at yourself. LOL
Hey Brian,
How are you doing Today you know your Hazard Light 💡 blinking as you were Planting Corn!! You all have a Great Day!
Fresh asparagus tastes so good. Always good to see your mom. Thanks.
May, 19,2021 I was getting surgery also except mine was on my heart. I really enjoy watching you and Brian . Keep it going
Good luck planting Brian corn 🌽
Bob Segar : Night Moves.
My fav.
Great video today!! Glad you are getting much needed rain! Love to see Farmers making a good living feeding America!

Bob Seger’s “Like a Rock” lyrics are great. Brian Sonne, ‘The Music Professor’ continues to educate us. As I’ve said before, pause the video and ask your music streaming service to play the ‘song of the day’. Thanks Brian!
You also found wild Asparagus ! Sure miss that hunt .
200,000 subs almost there!
“They’re putting in some work”
Might be juvenile but I totally snicker every time I hear that!
Love love those drone shots!!!!! My all time favorite!!!!!
I enjoy Brian's words of wisdom :)

Are classes required or some sort of training whenever you purchase new equipment like that planter? I am so in love with John Deere farming equipment. It was good to see your mother. Tell her I said hello from Indiana.
Nope, but your salesman will often go over things with you, otherwise there is a lengthy owners manual to go with it
Great video good to see y'all again
Cole was gettin some quality Tami time. You're a good son!
They sold out lol…
Great to see Your Mom in the video. Boy that asparagus made My mouth water. Glad to hear Your getting some moisture.
Greasy, slimy, sticky, or moist it’s all better than bone dry. Will be curious to see how those wet areas yield.
People have no idea how good that fresh asparagus is. I find the most where the cows congregate in the riverbottom during winter. Good fertilizer and a spring rain is all you need.
Good to see mom.
Brian, your imitation of Nixon and and Donald Duck was spot on. Would love to lay my hands on some of that wild asparagus.
It's Brian Or Brain not Bryan!
Scouting for asparagus with mom is the bestest. We enjoy on the grill.
I remember well when Chevy used "Like A Rock" song in their tv commercials. Their PR group had a winner with that one!! I, along with bunches of others ran out and bought that cd.
Adding mom to the videos sure classes you two up.
Great channel. Love watching you guys!
Couple things, though;
1; I wouldn't have shown people that you have wild asparagus, or you're going to have uninvited people walking your tree lines.
2; Not sure where you are getting your continuous fence, but Interstate Auction Center by Brandon South Dakota always seems to have piles of it on their auctions.
You're either going to have to buy a lot more fence, or start raising a breed of critter than doesn't get out all the time! 🤣🤣
I've got a '91 Chevy K1500 Scottsdale and I've been looking into making the radio play "Like a Rock" at all times
Planting seasons in full swing good job yall Hi Tami have a day love from TEXAS

2 I think.
After November I think Cole will be working on something for him and Tami. 😉
Another awesome video! Thanks for sharing your lives with us! 👍👍
Tammy and drone video! What a great day!
Glad things are lookin good🥰
I was going to ask how your knee was Cole as I had bilateral jaw replacement surgery 3 weeks before your knee surgery. I had a lot of down time n your video's kept me occupied, (and from going insane with boredom 😅).
So hope your knee worries are done n you're ready for a fantastic planting n harvest season. 👍
So good to see beautiful Mrs Tami n Ellie.
