He let them cheer over a Nat20 and everything. Matt doesn't get a lot of opportunities to be funny outside of his characters, but when he does, he fucking nails them
Matt watching them make completely unnecessary rolls and not stopping them until someone asked him is probably the best moment in this campaign so far.

Calling it the best part of the season though sets the bar really low... which actually lines up with my disappointment this season. I have trouble articulating what's kept me from enjoying S3 beyond 'I don't believe in the stakes' and 'it just feels like it's dragging on', but yeah, this is kind of a weak season. (shrugs?)

Maybe it's because I haven't watched Vox Machina or Mighty Nein, but I don't see what's so disappointing about this campaign. The only thing I don't love is how the guest characters tie in. Just when you start to get invested in their backstories or the bonds they've built with certain characters, they leave and you know they're not gonna show up again.
Fearne/Ashley describing Beau and Caleb as "the hot one and the redhead" SENT me🤣poor Caleb is gonna be the dirt wizard redhead for the rest of history huh? Also the scry rolling shenanigans went on SO long

I am also loving that there are more captions for the sly/hard to hear comments, idk if it's because there were just more sly comments this episode of if it's a conscious effort to caption more, but either way it's incredibly appreciated.

Hey we don't have the felt but have to battle map, and will send you a code for free Shipping if you choose to get felt when it's in stock. If they say no, they know what they are waiting for and are caught up, or worse comes to worse the cancel their order and you use their order to build others.
