In Ashley's defense against anyone critical of the Arcane Trickster choice, Fearne with Mage Hand Legerdemain is SUCH an amazing concept, i can't wait to see how she abuses it for shenanigans
Arcane Trickster is so much fun to play, and that Mage Hand Legerdemain is fantastic. I can't wait to see what she does with it... and getting access to the other wizard cantrips isn't anything to sneeze at either for a creative player.
Also she can pick spells that don’t require spellcasting modifier to be effective! It’s not that big of a deal to pick arcane trickster, I’m glad she did it!
A bit pedantic, but its not just the tidal locking, our moon is tidally locked to earth, yet it isn't only visible in one location. Being tidally locked is when an orbiting body rotates at the same period as it orbits. Being geostationary is when an orbiting body stays in the same place in the sky because it orbits at the same period as the thing it's orbiting. Ruidus is both tidally locked and geostationary (exandriastationary?).
@@Coonwhizoh that’s interesting - I always thought tidally locked just meant rotation and revolution being equal - whether of one body (ie, moon’s revolution around earth is the same time as its rotation about its axis) or two (ruidus’ revolution around exandria is the same as exandria’s rotation about its axis). In retrospect, though, it makes sense that scientists would be particular enough to have different terms for different combinations
In case anyone missed it, the “secret plan” at 20:46 was to plant the Brood Pit from the hive mind of the All-Minds-Burn in Bassuras (see C3:70 at 3:59:01). I was wondering if Laura and Talesin would remember that debt they had, and they did!

To be fair to trinket, Vex stopped taking levels in Ranger & went Assassin Rogue at the end there. Multiclassing just handicaps ya in some ways! It’s fun & cool of course, but it also means some parts never get fully optimized, which is important to some!
I saw a twitter comment about how Ashton seemed to get jealous over Fearne and Imogen's Ruidus-born bonding moment. You can hear Tal talk to Marisha, but it is hard to tell if it is in character or not. Feels like it might be though, cause the two characters were off on their own as well and I don't think Tal would be jealous of his friends geeking out over a new feat.
Tbh when I was in the chapter they are syncing and it had bye bye bye innit my first response was, oh they're in sync cos they're in the moon so their cycles are bound to be in the same time cos they spend sm together.. Then it said bye bye bye cos they about to get bloody which is code for they not messing around it's just that time of the month so don't even dare My mind is speaking so fast I can't comprehend what I'm typing
how do you make out their whispers? when sam was doing the 'i'm bad at dnd' bit i went back but couldn't make out what they were talking about at all. i was waiting all week for you to sub it for me =D why couldn't they use the staff to teleport? i don't remember him using it at all.
Looks like FCG (Sam) forgot to charge it and used his other slots for other things. Also, they haven't had a long rest since this happened immediately after multiple encounters going to the bloody bridge.
He used the charges in the staff to cast Passthrough to make the hole in the wall. You can kind of make out that he was under the assumption that teleport wouldn't work because he hadn't been anywhere on Ruidus before, until he remembered all their dream-walking might have qualified.
From 17:59 Liam O'Brian gives us a lesson on how to say something in the most convoluted way, using the maximum amount of unnecessary words, leaving everyone in wonder what the fuck he wanted to say in the first place

Kinda sad that Ashton is rarely ever in these. Like. They had a whole silent moment with laudna when fearne and imogen bonded with how jealous they both were. Talisen was only shown up close a few times this whole video, and its a trend with your videos to like. not give ashton/talisen as much focus. I get that hes a more quiet guy and that you have your favs (as youre allowed to) but im still sad that the things he Does do dont get as much attention as everyone else
to be honest it's truly not like... an intentional thing i do. i honestly just don't notice a lot of ashton/taliesin moments. i'm not like rubbing my hands together like a cartoon villain and giggling to myself being like "hehe i can't wait to cut all the taliesin moments out of this video." not trying to say that's what you're implying, but i do feel like some people kind of think that's what i do. and i don't. just wanted to make that clear. i kind of just have to go with the flow on these videos and what i see is what i see and that's what gets put in the videos.
@@marisharaygun I understand! We all have our biases, and it *is* easy to miss what Talisen does. I know you have no ill-will with it, and I'm not anyone to tell you how you edit your videos. More Talisen would be nice but ultimately it's you editing down 4 hour videos just about every week, which I'm sure takes basically forever. They're your videos, what gets to go in them is up to you and not to us.
