I actually heard a commentator question what will happen to Haley's voters after this. I just yelled at the screen, "WHAT VOTERS?", that's the point.

Edit. I’m 35 year old Registered Nurse who underwent 4 major back surgeries these past 2 years. Every day is a struggle for me and I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like in 5, 10, 20 years. My honest opinion, as a millennial, am tired of these people who want to make laws because of their generations spending. She’ll be long gone by the time my generation hits 75. All it is, is excuses to be able to spend more. I’m also tired of these people always wanting war. You want war? Go fight at the front lines like all the other great men in our history. Sending all these young men to war only because it makes them money. Such disregard for human life.
When Social Security was created in 1935, life expectancy for men was 61 and for women, 65. President Reagan raised the retirement age in the 80s and that impacted me. I was angry but it was the right thing to do. It is the right thing to do now since SS is going broke. Life expectancy today is in the mid/high 70s. Raising the retirement age makes a lot of sense. it would not impact anyone currently collecting it. 75 might be a little high but 70 seems reasonable.

The whole reason why SS is going broke is because all these illegal immigrants automatically get free SS checks, they get free insurance, free groceries, free housing, & free transportation, & they don't pay taxes..... That's why everything is going broke......

How about taking even some of that money to help support us Americans who work full time jobs, more than 40 hours a week and still are faced with having to decide to buy food and gas for the week, going to the doctor because we are unwell or paying our utility bill for the month. Why? Because even with working our lives away… we still do not earn enough wages to do them all. That is an American shame.
