  • Behold! A brand new effect by ‪@Kyoobur9000‬, which looks kind of similar to the "Blues" effect, but no buzzing noises. Here's how to do it (copied from 9K)
    1) Make two video tracks in Kdenlive, with the exact same content and timing. You can apply cropping/enhancement if you want but do so for both tracks; before moving on, they should be exactly the same.
    2) Apply the Pixelize effect to the bottom track. I used a Block Size X of 16 and a Block Size Y 27 in this video. You are free to play around with these values. Smaller values will probably lead to something more like edge detection, while larger values will lead to more of the original video being visible but also more blockiness.
    3) Add the Difference composition between everything in the top track and everything in the bottom track.
    4) Add the Lift/gamma/gain effect to the master track, and slide up the Gamma slider as far as it will go. (This will also brighten any corner logo you add, which can be corrected by adding a gamma reduction to your logo. For example, add the Lift/gamma/gain effect to the logo and turn the gamma as far down as you want)
