  • A magnificent climb in the Dolomites. An historic route graded 5.7+, first ascended by Alverà and Pompanin in 1946, which follows the longest of the three famous aretes of the Tofana. The route is made of 17-18 pitches, and in pure traditional style only has few fixed pitons here and there (no bolts). Techinical difficulties never get too hard, and the few crux moves are well protected and offer numerous fixed pins. The climb has increadible views on Cortina, the five towers, the Nuvolau and Averau. The descent is easy and comfortable, after passing a gully it merges with the normal route to the summit.
