Onespot had to do so many random tests to try find something the Annihilator was better at than the Akula, and there was literally nothing.

I think that flying a Stealth Annihilator is actually a huge flex. Everyone knows the Akula is better in every way. Owning the Stealth Annihilator shows that you have so much money, you can buy whatever useless stuff you want.
Same goes for most of the Arena War vehicles.

@@thewither6358 I think the Hunter is better. Sure, it cant go invisible on a whim, but it has Countermeasures, 7 missiles per barrage (Akula has 4) and a Cannon for the Copilot that is actually useful.
The annihilator can be rappelled down from, so if you’re looking for a ground stealth incursion than that chopper is the one you want to go with
annihilator its like yatch and arena war cars, just get it if you dont have anything to put money on
The akula lights actually turn off tho when it’s in stealth mode

I use the Stealth Annihilator utility helicopter for different applications than the Akula attack helicopter. In a hot server I find the Annihilator useful when doing heist preparation with other players and some business source missions when I want to minimise chance of being detected and attacked by hostile players, it's rappelling feature is also useful for inserting players into tight areas that the helicopter can't land and the missiles are good for performing air support against enemy NPC's.
for the people talking about the lights:
1. akula stealth mode turns the lights off
2. it may still have the green and red lights but that doesn’t matter if the annihilator also has the green and red lights

If anyone was wondering what those pipes sticking out of the Akula's front are, they're Pitot Tubes, which are used to measure air preasure, and from there estimate air speed and other important info (not to say they're used for that in the game. Just that's what they're used for in real life)

Since the stealth annihilator can carry passangers it would be awesome if they could fire their weapons while the chopper is in stealth. Then it would have an advantage over the akula and be worth buying.
But as it is now, its not worth it. Nobody is buying shark cards to afford this, Rockstar.
One thing I like about the new chopper is that your friends can actually rappell from the back like during the cayo perico heist, not very useful but great for roleplay or making video’s.

the annihilator is more of an armed transport helicopter, i should compare it with the cargobob, the savage, valkyr, how to compare a bombuska, a titan, with a lazer or a hydra

2. You have to activate it preemptively as just doing it when locking on sounds is not sufficient
Chaff is better against vehicles with serial firing missiles but when it comes to general usefullnes flares are better as you don't have to come into a fight prepared to fight and can still dodge a missile so I'd say that if you don't want to dogfight or generally PvP flares are better

@@ahhhhhhh8004 Why trouble yourself with having to predict an attack when you will only be fighting things without good missiles. In my case I almost never actually play on full public session so it just doesn't make sense, when my friend on the ground randomly decides to shoot me down I can actually react now so as I said, It depends on the use intended. I usually just fight with friends and thus cannot expect attacks and for that purpose, flares are sufficient so stop going around with your head in your ass saying "Chaff is better than flares" If you cannot realize that they have different uses dependant on context.
But yeah I take away the statement that chaff is hard to use, not sure why I said that.
Rappel from the helicopter like tactical people.

Honestly, as an expert helicopter pilot, I'm probably gonna use the Annihilator more than the Akula. The akula is equipped with homing rockets, because barrage rockets are impossible to use due to its sensitive turning.
I give the Annihilator barrage and its turning is much more like the buzzard, making it extremely viable, even in PvP (and dont say it sucks because of Opressors. Literally everything sucks against it.)
Sure the hunter can use both Homing and Barrage, BUT the handling is the worst of the 3 and thus barrage is not very reliable, especially against armored vehicles.
In other words. Don't consider the Annihilator unless you're an expert Buzzard Pilot. It's definitely my favorite for farming missions already.
Also just to be clear, I still think it should've had more functions to make it unique from the Akula. That it could've had countermeasures (with stealth replacing bomb bay input) OR! Having a hook like the Cargobob.
Which would be sweet af to carry a a military car or even a tank under it while still being prepared to defend the tank.
The akula's barrage rockets are very well usable. Just look at a few Videos from GerThunderlod. He is a real pro.

@@lightningelector3194 have you even gone up against broomstick tryhards who can just free fire the missles? It really does not work well.
Given that they just announced the nerfs for their rockets AND countermeasures, the hunter will likely be viable. Honestly I've just been sticking with the Buzzard and Sparrow because they both have immensely short cooldowns, spawn like MC bikes, and are hard to get shot down by homing launchers.
And barrages don't work well because of how fast armored cars have become, like the agency vehicles, or insurgents. You'd have to both know exactly how to aim the tail rudders while also knowing how far you have to aim ahead of those cars due to barrage missles having some of the worst blast radius stats compared to every other rocket.
They could’ve at least kept the Annihilator’s Quad miniguns
And maybe given us the option to upgrade it with Door-guns

The functionality of the annihilator isnt as good but I actually like the design of it over the akula. It feels more compact and you're able to hold 4 more people in it than the akula which means 6 people are off radar. Put one person with a combat mg with FMJ rounds and another with a flare gun (or two people with flares) and it can actually be kinda useful.
I'm hoping the armor is just bugged amd it takes as many as the akula because it could be a menace with multiple people in it.

Pretty much the only reasons I bought the Annihilator Stealth is because I already owned the Apache (Hunter), it has the rappel feature, and because the Annihilator Stealth is based off a Blackhawk, and me and my friends use it for Military RP's.

Since anihilator stealth came out it became my akulas main diet... Fun fact.. Akula climbs faster and has bombs and anihilator stealth is good target dish... Akula pilots know when ur flying behind them because they do the very same but way longer and less noticible

I'd use the annihilator, for cruseing and, to spy on submarines lmao. Even though I have a sub myself. What I like it has a thing where you can repel down, you never see that in the game. It's cool. Stealth mode is just awesome ,even though you cant use weapons, it's fun to spy n watch people kill people at a distance lol. Like, Tryhards for example I use the Akula, but I wait to strike and circle at a distance like a shark and get them when they enter veichles, lol
Actually, the rappel already existed in gta online. For example, if you called a helicopter pickup from merryweather, you could rappel down instead of jumping. Also, rappelling is just for showing off.

Akula is for attacking, annihilator is a retreat/infiltration helicopter. Use it right and it’s great.

Akula is based off american (canceled) Comanche stealth helicopter. the Stealth Annihilator is based off the technically classified stealth blackhawk used in the Osama bin Laden raid.

I actually like the Ahhilator more. Because i really like that how is it looking. Andthe akula looks like a duck lol. And i think it is so cool that this has swat ropes exept the akula. I prefer the Ahhilator because it is 6 seater and me and my friends can do mission easily because they can rope out from the helicopter. But yea, I think akula is an attack helicopter and it is better for fights and the Ahhilator is a fun, mission Helicopter.
