if you want better obstacle avoidance get the dreame if you want a faster clean and a better app the roborock all the way

Yes, the obstacle avoidance should do its job there. Things like cables though it struggles to see.

In the photos on their site, however, you can clearly see it in laser on the side as well. Did they put a picture of another product? Also, it is not clear to me whether it has its own reservoir or not: Does it have to go every time to moisten the mop in the charging station or does it have its own reservoir that slowly releases the water?

Hi thank you for the review,
Did you check the air exhaust? I had to send unit back because the exhaust air flow was much lower (about 10% estimated) than my RoboRock S7 and S4 even though its rated more than twice the suction. With Revo S on it max setting suction I had very little and I do mean little exhaust air, which has to mean low suction. I'm assuming I got a bad unit and ordered another. . My S4 feels like a strong mini fan and I can feel the exhaust air flow several feet away. I would appreciate if you could put your hand near the exhaust and give me your opinion. -Thanks.

These new units diffuse the air outlet to reduce noise output so you dont feel air like a hairdryer

This has the same sensors as the S8, i returned the S8 for the qrevo s, it makes less noise, the same collision avoidence as the s8.
