Real credit to you mate .Stunning fish and beautiful scape, looks amazing.Plants look really healthy and no algae.the 3 silver flying Fox seem to have done a fantastic job on that..Colours of your discus is outstanding.Keep up the good work.
#AA10K Your love of Discus shines throughout your videos. You prove time and time again. With care and the right work ethic discus are not difficult or delicate.
5L a day, that’s a crazy amount! I was struggling with a couple of litres a day across the whole fish room and that was causing me problems! Great video as always!! #AA10K
Yes sir that would definitely work. a lot of people in the aquarium hobby use it on their tanks I wish you much success my friend God bless be safe #AA10K
I’m still undecided if tanks with lids are nicer or more practical than open topped. My current tank is against a wall which is wallpapered so the lid IS required to keep wifey happy. I do like the look of open tops with the light above from the ceiling. Oh and while I remember #AA10K
#AA10K I agree it is a beautiful idea and cheap, I just ordered a sheet for myself last weekend, hoping to arrive soon and yeah ready to test thr measuring skills.... Great Display tank... I would love to have one discus tank in future....
That's a great idea. And helpful to. I need a new top for my tank. The lights that came on the lid are terrible. So I've been trying to think of a solution for a lid that would work with a new, better light. Thank you very much! #AA10K.
@@AquariumAdventures Thank you. I only have a 10 gallon aquarium. It's all I have room for. Sadly. But I love it. Except for the lid that came with it. It has two little strips of lights. They have 3 little tiny bulbs each, one on each side. But the one on the left side has blue lights. The other is white. And it is nowhere near enough light. So I've been trying to come up with something that would work with a new better light. Your idea is perfect! Thank you for sharing it. I will be using it.😊
That will definitely help pal i was loosing about the same per week and got some glass sliding panels gut at the local glaziers for about £40 with runners for 7 ft tank #aa10 keep the ground videos coming pal
Got a new project for the weekend now. Hit up B&Q and buy polycarbonate to make two lids. Since i got the open top tank ive been getting the condensation aswell. #AA10K
Why didn't you fit it into the very top grove and spray it black to keep the light from shining everywhere? A little runner fitted along the sides would enable you to keep the lights below your canopy and therefore not effect the lights.
Because then the condensation would build up and run down the canopy and the outside of the tank and on the lights killing them. I could get a 2nd panel and put it there - but 'light shining everywhere' isn't really a thing / problem.
The pair should bond more in the display tank and will lay and defend the eggs more and more then u will have a better chance in moving them back to the fish room to breed in the future #AA10K
Thank you for your video on HMA filters. I followed your link and ordered from Amazon and expect it by Saturday. Is there a best place you can advise for replacement cartridges? Anyway look forward to watching you videos Thank you #aa10
I have that on my aquarium only problem with it is water gets into it and causes alge issues which is hard to clean if you dont have a bath in your house to do a peroxide dip. #AA10K
Primetime aquatic did a video about it i think it might be if you have a air stone or sponge filter in the corner that the issue with alge inside it would happen

Loved the , tear off scene big man 👌😂👍 Lovely big tank that mate👌👍💚
The tank looks superb now. Hard to belive it was so overgrown with BBA not so long ago. #AA10K
I know - I congratulate myself about this almost daily (even though it was the flying foxes that did the hard work!) 😆
Have made mostly DIY lids. Great tip for that type of lid.
Yes sir that would definitely work. a lot of people in the aquarium hobby use it on their tanks I wish you much success my friend God bless be safe #AA10K
That's a good upgrade! I lost about 6L a week on mine until I put a lid om it! 👍🏻
Looks much better than stuff I had previously. Loving your display tank #AA10K
Thanks!
Nice video tanks looking really good now and good cheap idea for a lid

Good stuff bro from BARBADOS....Hoorah! #AA10K
Had to do exactly the same to my tank as I was losing so much water. I pretty much lose nothing now.
Those discuss are stunning 👌. AA10k
#AA10K, the lid looks like a good fit and doesn't detract from the aquarium appearance, should certainly help with keeping your wife happy👍
Tank is looking great. #AA10K

What make of led lights do you have on this discus tank?
I use these - amzn.to/3ol4gdv
The pair should bond more in the display tank and will lay and defend the eggs more and more then u will have a better chance in moving them back to the fish room to breed in the future #AA10K
Definitely - I'm kind of glad they didn't start as they already look more confident in the display tank so hoping they put some size on now too.
#AA10K Was just looking for ideas for the same thing top video 👍🏼
Awesome I was just about to look into sorting the same problem on my new 100 gal thanks. #AA10k

I bought mine in bulk a while back - I'm not sure but might have been a seller called 'waterfilterman'
Iv been looking at getting some lids made, and i keep getting horrified by the price of acrylic, cheers for the idea! #AA10K
Thanks looking great #AA10k
Continue the ground to earth videos. :) #AA10K
More good info in one of your vids! #AA10K Is the panel just floating on the surface of the water or sitting on the tank?
It sits above the water on the rim of the tank
#AA10K thanks for my shrimp sticks
Great video really useful, definitely be trying it
#AA10K
#Hashbrowns
Sorry...I am entering a McDonald contest. 😉

Great solution. #AA10k
I have that on my aquarium only problem with it is water gets into it and causes alge issues which is hard to clean if you dont have a bath in your house to do a peroxide dip. #AA10K
I'll have to watch out for that - I've used this stuff for a while and never had that problem before
Primetime aquatic did a video about it i think it might be if you have a air stone or sponge filter in the corner that the issue with alge inside it would happen

#AA10K Make a hole that fits your food cup and let it float and keep the lidt tight
Thats some big brain thinking right there! Love it!
That should keep most of the moisture out of your room.
Thats the plan!
#AA10k
