Hi. Yes they are one the same. But be sure that you get the matching oil for your car. Your local stockists should be able to help by supplying them with your car registration details. Thanks
Can you overfill the box oil or just go as high as possible? Is this the same as a Zafira 1.6 2008 petrol? There is a breather nut on mine not a hex? Many thanks.
Hi. I wouldn’t know the specifics of the 1.6 but the oil/lubricant needs to have room to expand as it’s in use and heats up, so yes it would be best not to fill to the brim. Hope that helps at least a little.
Hi that may point more towards a drive shaft issue as the other affects more specific gears. You could get a stethoscope and listen to gear box and would hear the noise without it being in gear. If front or rear wheel drive jack up both wheels off ground and run engine to be more clear. You should be able to get a cheap stethoscope online £5 or less
The Vauxhall/ Opel Zafira B 2009 is the M32. That is what I base all the parts I buy. There is a site www.Vauxhall.7zap.com it is a slow site but it has the schematics for the parts and the part numbers, very helpful site. Hope this helps you out!
Hi. For me the oil drained when I had to take out the drive shaft. The drain plug is towards the back of the gear box. It’s not the lowest point so there will normally be a couple of hundred millilitres of oil left. Unless you use a liquid pump to get out more. The torque for putting back the plug will be 20 nm. Be sure to use a sealant or gasket paste on the plug to avoid unwanted leaks. Hope this helps.🙂👍🙂
Hi, where can I buy the filler plug replacement.

Mine is semi auto but has problems changing gears could this be low or no transmission fluid
Did you manage to fix this. I’m having a similar issue but only sometimes won’t go in gear. I’m hoping this doesn’t give up on me anytime soon
Could low transmission fluid cause a loud whining noise in all gears except reverse ?

@@HomeCarRepairs thank you . i find with vin they say my car have (w32-6 wr) what oil i have to buy . how much liters plz
A fully synthetic oil like a 5 / 30 and you might need just over 4ltr depending on how much oil you have removed.
Thank you. Very well explained.
Glad it was helpful!
Is the filling point for the easytronic (semi auto) in the same location?
Sorry I would not be sure for that engine.
Where abouts will the drain plug be?

Very good thank you
Welcome 😊
Next time would be nice to show how to get the old oil out first.
Thanks. It was emptied in a previous job, when replacing the nearside driveshaft.
But the guy said he's only showing how to top it up cos they had to replace the drive shaft lol
