I've enjoyed the fantastic music of Eilen, Jerry and the crew for about 5-6 years now, and I've had the pleasure of seeing them live on two occasions. Unbelievable songwriting and musical talent from every one of them on all scores.
Absolutely love you, Eilen, Jerry, Jason, and the whole band. I cannot wait until I see you live in Seattle in February!!!

One of these bands where the output is uniformly excellent! Why she is not more well-known I guess I should not stew about, just be glad that she and her excellent band- is on the scene and able to make a living from some of us in the know.

really nice rockin' bluesy song! Been getting into her music and I've heard it described as Americana or rootsy. I hear that and it almost always makes me feel like turning the other way but this somehow fuses blues, rock, country and folk and wait for it now...surf guitar. Songs are noir at times and the philosophy of the lyrics often seem genuine and legit to me: Check out Rain roll in, One of those days, Sweet Rose, Fading Memory etc. to see what I am talking about if you like. My hometown is a more recent masterpiece (though less noir then the previous songs I have mentioned). Great artist. Do yourself a favor and pick up one or several in her catalogue.
