For the gigantopithecus (don’t get mad at me If I can’t spell it right please) I’m also thinking about it might’ve died because it’s large size scared away small prey easily as the prey heard it coming closer etcetra.

That dragon skeleton in China is called a nein a very long time ago there was a legend that a dragon attacked a small town in China but a lion scared it away 100years later that dragon came back but the lion was dead and surprisingly this is how the lion dance was made they made a costume of a dragon and scared it off

The dragon bones did not look real to me. They looked like a pile of (fresh) cow, pig and ostrich bones being put together to me.

Yes after it was covered, they carefully dug up the bones. Although it may be old it was conserved in the ground for centuries.
I'm pretty sure i saw something about how someone made the skeleton with cow bones, i'm not sure about the skull tho.

The dragon bones looked so fake to me. Maybe a buffalo head with dear antlers, the body was put together with cow and pig bones. The legs bones were maybe ostrich bones.
