  • In this episode, something BIG is aFOOT. Coyote and the crew are on-location in Canada searching for the elusive Sasquatch. In 1967, Patterson and Gimlin changed the world with the alleged first “real proof” of Bigfoot… until now? Coyote may have found something in the British Columbia backcountry that could change history as we know it…
Join us on this hypothetical what-if scenario where Coyote "finds a Bigfoot skull".

It might inspire more clicks, but it's not very respectable and is definitley kind of scummy. At 10:12 he literally stated that it's hypothetical. And if you watch the second part you'd realize it was a psa to spread awareness about what you should and shouldn't do with fossils and bones of exotic animals. Just wanted to mention that you can like a RUclips channel/creator and still criticize them when they do something wrong/sketchy that they shouldn’t be doing. A lot of channels become more corporate as they grow bigger and start to do stuff like this for more views and money. If you love the channel, then you should want to keep them honest, so call them out when you see something wrong like this. Don’t just brush it off snd say “it’s no biggie” because then they’ll just keep doing more and more stuff until the channel turns into something like Buzzfeed or Vice news essentially turned into. Lots of channels start our awesome, but if their audience doesn’t call out bad things when they see them, they just get greedy over time and go downhill. If you actually like the channel, don’t just defend everything they do, call out bad behavior and actually try and understand why it’s bad if you don’t get it instead of stubbornly continuing to defend them.

@@pvt_shane let me copy over the same reply I gave to someone else for this (ignore the “you’re not to blame” part, that was bc he was blaming himself for not seeing that part. You’re not included in that at all, kid.):
You aren’t to blame, these disclaimers are supposed to be placed at the BEGINNING of a video, for more than a few seconds, and made VERY clear (as well as put in the description). He said one sentence 10 minutes in a 15 minute video that said this was a hypothetical situation. There is no indication in the thumbnail or title that this is hypothetical either. Lots of people don’t watch the whole video and skip here and there and RUclips creators know this; heck the MAJORITY of viewers don’t finish the video from beginning to end. This is why it’s incredibly important to put these disclaimers at the beginning of the video in a very clear manner; these guys have been creating yt videos for a long time and know this but CHOSE not to do that to get more views and keep people watching the video.
This is clickbait and it’s clear as day, which is why so many people are annoyed by it. You’re not supposed to present hypothetical situations like this on an educational channel, whether it be Discovery or brave wilderness. It was clearly made this way to garner more views, which is why so many people are expressing their distaste for this video.
A lot of coyote fans/stans will try and defend this behavior (many, if not most, are kids who don’t understand that just because someone seems cool in a video doesn’t mean their production team won’t pull shady stuff for views...) but anyone who’s been on RUclips for a long time and knows how the RUclips game works can see this was clickbait and scummy behavior for a scientific channel such as this to employ.

I never would've thought Coyote Peterson would stupe to the level of publicity stunts to get more views and attention. His content up to this point didn't need any of that. This whole video is a joke and a slap in the face to the community that takes BF seriously and scientifically.
    I'm disappointed in you Coyote.

Truly and that's such a disappointing concept, cause I realized how his real fans aren't his real fans at all. Y'all got everything you were promised, video is about bigfoot and he talks and shares information about bigfoot, all I see is an animal enthusiast for a potential hidden primate species. He never claimed in the video bigfoot is real but he does claim that he hopes it is. He also showed the skull from the thumbnail so what's the issue?? Title never said they found it, it's not a statement at least so it can't be used as a valid reason to say he's lying. 10:12, he even gave y'all a disclaimer that it was going to be a hypothetical situation and yet somehow people still got mad. It's just so sad.

This is why RUclips should go back to the old 5 red star rating system. If it's a bad video, then most people would give it a low rating ( one star ) and therefore it would help to stop clickbait videos like this one from becoming popular.
