Absolutely beautiful. My father was born in Wales, and his family came to the USA when he was 2yrs, My gran always talked about the Welsh love of music and singing. Marvelous choir.

It is wonderful to see yong man engaged in such a healthy and spirit lifting activity. If every yong person would take part in activities like that, there would be less depression and more positive attitudes towards life.

This was an amazing audition. No matter the genre of music, great singing is great singing. Real feel good song and I hope the choir is still going from strength to strength.

My son was in Only Boys Aloud when they did that audition. He went on to take a degree in musical theatre. Thank you so much for all your positive comments. All the families are so proud of their boys.

You know, it's possible to watch a video on RUclips and feel that maybe, just maybe, there really is hope for the human race after all.
Look at these boys. Look at their faces, their eyes. I see beauty shining through them. I see joy. I see love. I hear love in their voices; the love for singing, for their families, for art and life and music. (Am I reaching a little bit? Maybe, but that's how I feel, so deal with it. :D)
There are moments that make you glad to be alive today, to have the opportunity to witness something beautiful and true when life feels dark and ugly. This is one of those moments.

How wonderful to see a group of young men, boys, teens, clean cut, in such beautiful choir. Amazing .Didn't see a tat or nose ring anywhere...
Tats and nose rings aren't bad (unless the tats are hateful). If you look beyond them you often find a great person. I had a stroke and needed home health aides. The best aide I had had dreadlocks, tattoos(done in prison), and a couple of piercings. He had been in prison for 14yrs for assult with a deadly weapon. Prison changed him. He said that instead of letting it make him hard he worked to get his act together. And most important he learned empathy. He was the most supportive and empathetic aide I had. After I could resume driving he let me use his car to get to an appointment (staff were not allowed to transport clients and company refused to help me even though that was supposed to be part of my care plan). He kept his tats and his piercings as a reminder of the life he didn't want to go back to.
@@jackycook64 ...Yes,. I agree with you that on rare occasions, there are lovely people under their past mistakes, for sure! I just had a helper here with dreads down to his waist! He was very kind and was a great handyman. He had been through the mills too.
@@Marylmac I have a ton of respect for him. He used his prison time for what I like to call a "pause moment". Taking the time to assess where you are, how and why, what you want for your future and what obstacles will there be. Thinking through all of that and recognizing that it is YOUR life and YOUR decision how to move forward. I was so grateful he was given a chance through a re-entry program. It set him up to succeed. Having access to that program helped him find the job relatively quickly and despite his felony. He has never reoffended. But I do agree with you that it was refreshing not seeing tats or nose rings!

HOW did this wonderful group with their perfectly beautiful voices and song not get a golden buzzer? It’s hard sometimes to understand the judges’ choices, especially when all four were so clearly moved and the audience loved it.
This group of males need to be seen by the world, they are talented and without a doubt a group to be admired and aspire too. Thanks to their coaches and conductor for work well done. May many males around the world see you as good role models and Emulate you. All the best for the future.

I agree, one of the greatest auditions of all time. This made me well up, I love the Welsh language as it is designed to be sung, and when sung by a choir like this, it has no equal.

There is really very little as uplifting as listening to a good choir! (And isn't it wonderful to see so many young chaps all singing instead of causing mayhem!)

I sing in a choir that has its roots in Wales and have had the opportunity to sing in Welsh several times. Difficult for this English speaker, but it was very rewarding when we had learned and performed the songs. This group sounded great to my American ears.

Wishing every member of this choir huge success for the future, whatever may transpire. If, for any reason, they're unable to continue together in such a large group I do hope some of them end up singing with The Fron. I say this as our large choir, who have hosted and sung with The Fron in Moray, had to disband recently, partly due to the restrictions the past two years has imposed on us 😥

I cannot understand a word the young men are singing. The reason women draw tears and men with faces of pride is seen is for the truth in these young men. They are displaying manliness. Their is nothing to fear in manliness but when men are not cowards and true goodness is in their hearts the world is better for it. This comes from God and is delivered through a previous generation who ingrain this. So be men and be good and for me for yourself believe in Jesus. I can say even though I am from a small farming village in India these values are universal.

I could be wrong here but I believe this is a Welsh Hymn rather than just a song, I do remember we always sang it at School assembly back in my Llannelly day's, when I was in my youth, that was over (80) eighty years ago now. Ah, memories!
