Thanks, Russell. It was very useful to learn that you can restrict students’ contributions to audio and/or video. It makes it easier for students to find these formats and makes the Padlet more like Flip (Flipgrid)
Very interesting. I've always liked Padlet, even when it had it's old name of Wall Wisher. So these extras will be great to incorporate into projects. Thank you so much
Hi Russell, thanks as always. I wonder when you recorded this. I got a surprise at the weekend when setting up a couple of new Padlets and found I had no option to Archive any more. And a quick search told me that it’s in dashboard or trash now. Pity but I understand why they’ve done it (unless I’m missing a trick). (Btw, I especially appreciated the tip about streamlining the post field attachments).
The training was recorded before the recent update that moved the Archive option to the dashboard or trash, but I'm glad you found the attachment streamlining tip helpful!
Thank you! I've heard that a student can only have an audio recording for 5 minutes and video recordings for 2 minutes at a time with the free option. Is that indeed the case?

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment
Thank you, Russell. I like to use Padlets in my language classes. So, I will try this audio and video technique and see how it works.
Best of luck!

You're welcome! Yes, with the free version of Padlet, students can record audio for up to 5 minutes and video for up to 2 minutes at a time.
