Back to fixing beaters for fun and profit, plus our entertainment. And getting some of the important things done is a bonus. It's going to be awesome when done, cheaper to run, and big enough for major projects. Heat is always nice. OOH, electric motorcycle 🤣
Good idea running fiber. I’ve seen so many problems running copper ethernet between buildings. Ground loops can be tricky and I’ve replaced a lot of trashed customer gear where they’ve run copper. The money is in digging the hole usually. Ubiquiti sells some pretty inexpensive fiber. And there are some places where you can have custom lengths made up for your application (armored and all that junk). Great videos and love seeing the shop and house updates.
Scoreboard tv idea sounds like the best option! TV wall isn't great now with all your storage racks taking up most of that space. Plus would lose storage on top of them.
The second you said you bought something from Honda that fits in a box that size, I knew it was the Motocompacto! I only wish it looked a little more like the Motocompo, but it's still pretty sweet for a little E-scooter.
Just here to add another vote for a jumbo tron! Perfect solution. And then also add a TV on each long wall for when you are directly under the jumbotron. Full coverage!
JR you have the most entertaining channel on you tube. Whether it’s fixing cars , your cabin, house, garage or shop it’s always interesting and entertaining. Keep it up!
this is a way better and cooler shop than the old one. Jake is my favorite cameo guy too. He could be making so much money with his knowledge in a bigger area
I don't know for sure but only having a top speed of 15 mph and not being gas fueled, I would think anywhere a bike can go these could go. In SC, where I live, anything that can't go over 25mph also can't go on any street with a speed limit over 45mph. 50cc gas scooters can be ridden by anyone here, ( mainly by people who lost their DL or kids ) but legally can't go over 25mph and not allowed on 50mph or up roads. There are no limits for slow electric bikes, except staying off main roads.
I'm running home link on the house and nest on the garage. I'm liking the response times of nest over home link. But i love the 2 camera setup of the Lindo camera on home link. It's shows the ground and street view. I said I'd never go Bluetooth on my house. But after having the garage door, my Bronco, and doorbell and outside cameras all on my phone. It is so cool and unbelievably helpful with my dad and his wonderings. Started adding lights and outlets in the house. When the kids have the TV blasting, i can turn the TV down anywhere in the house. GenX can learn new things cause I'm proof of that. Lol
Not sure I can agree with this at all and I’m a Honda guy. Barely any range and .6 hp that will barely hit 12mph with a larger rider. Plenty of alternatives
I do love these videos as well as your car videos. Aside from the video wall and jumbotron, How about a TV in front of each lift/Work area that have pis, or small pcs so you can manage the projects visibly for each one....parts lists, to do's etc...
I can't wait for the internet to the shop video. I'm wanting to do this, but I want to do it right. I'm not sure what CAT cable and how I need to run it.
Obviously before the snow hit Wichita on Sat. Drove thru on Sun and the roads were still sketchy. Was wearing my new summer tires but I made it w/o visiting a ditch.
I can relate to the moto scooter. I appears like post WWII "Exercycles" or stationary cycler used to trim and tone. Usually pictured with an easy-on-the-eye babe clad in a leotard, with no need to exercycle. Thanks. particularly post WWII.
it's 19° this morning... the older heat pumps gave up around 37°. resistive heating makes the meter spin (it's digital now too), but it's still trying to heat pump it!
My U6-LR reaches 200 feet out of the house to the shop no problem. Maybe something wrong or misconfigured on your old one. It's important to mount the disc shaped unidirectional APs up high. Basement will not be as good. The mesh is certainly a newer unit however. Max EIRP is 5dbm higher on the u6-LR, but only on the 2.4ghz radio. The 5ghz max EIRP is the same for both
The Honda "bike" looks like a good and more affordable alternative to golf carts, Segways, etc. for getting around the community or a large shop/manufacturing/factory type building.
Those little Hondas are cool! Can’t wait till you are back to working in and not on the shop. JR are you ever going to finish the 69 Camaro or the LS swapped Rolls?
You've worked hard all year, and more, so it's good to kick off your shoes and play in the sand. Sort off? Having small fun Honda bikes in your new shop is fun, but they could have been more useful in the old shop, to fetch tools. Yes, get a big ass tv ice rink in the roof, so everyone can see movies! Brilliant video, and thanks to all , who have helped make it happen. Love from Scotland 🎧📻📽📺
I don't understand why you just don't get the wireless unlicensed point to point that the same company, unify sells. I used them in a warehouse to warehouse and was fairly impressed with the speeds.
My shop is a gauss cage… Steel roof and walls, inside and out. I had to put a cell repeater up, which worked great until the Mike/Nextel/Clearnet network was decommissioned...

Glad to see Jake now with you and Hoovie ! It is always a little bit more Interesting when Jake is lurking about !
Jake and JR, that is my kind of double feature!
7:40 - before the shop is fully finished, you should setup a Mario Kart-esque track in there. Just watch out for plush bananas!
That is so cute you and your partner driving around on Honda scooters❤❤
Seeing your truck in the shop gives some perspective on the size of the place. It's big, bigger than I first thought. Nice setup.
If it had a hitch, you could pull Jake around in that little stroller.

8:28 Those scooters look like a Wii Fit Plus Balance Board with wheels and a seat
Love these shop and house builds, as well as the tech stuff. Keep at it!

Jake’s face when you were talking about the Honda Compacto.
All his Christmas gifts came at once.
Are they legal to ride on the street or sidewalk?

The suitcase bike needs a camo wrap to match it's big brother.
I was going to do the purple from the SxS... but now I want to do the camo 😂
MOTOCOMPACTOOOOOO
that ride along scene reminded me of the Eastbound and down moped scene in Mexico🤣! great work!!
Those Motocompacto's seem like an amazing deal.
Not sure I can agree with this at all and I’m a Honda guy. Barely any range and .6 hp that will barely hit 12mph with a larger rider. Plenty of alternatives
Congratulations on the new digs! BTW, this is the 3rd Jake- touched video I've seen today. Congratulations to Jake as well for the new gig.
I love the Brady Bunch double oven! Thanks JR for everything. 🤣
Always good to see Jake.
Those are cool little bikes for sure.
As soon as i saw the boxes i knew they were the mini folding bikes! So awesome!
Jake is getting to be a bad influence on you JR....I like it! Haha.
Different $1000 Honda then I was thinking of . Lol Bring on the beaters!
reminds me of the jetsons opening - where the car turns into a briefcase
Sweet new vid! Thanks for sharing. Loving the progress.
You two were like kids opening Christmas Presents with those Honda bikes. You are so tech geeky, but that why we like you !
I would walk before being caught on one of those dorky scooters
Love obs ford in back
I just added a mesh network to my apartment last night and it made a world of difference. Glad to see y’all doing the same with great results!
Love that shop and yes, you need to build that score board!
the shot of ya'll riding the honda at 1mph with epic electronic background music is too funny. keep up the great content!
I do love these videos as well as your car videos. Aside from the video wall and jumbotron, How about a TV in front of each lift/Work area that have pis, or small pcs so you can manage the projects visibly for each one....parts lists, to do's etc...
So happy to see jake working for the channel.
I can't wait for the internet to the shop video. I'm wanting to do this, but I want to do it right. I'm not sure what CAT cable and how I need to run it.
I miss the old $500 /$1000 flip videos
I am so jealous of the Hondas I can't wait to get one
your basically riding a giant battery with wheels, seat and handle bars attached to it. pretty damn awesome if you ask me
You guys riding those scooters in circles in the shop reminds me of when my cousin and I used to ride our tricycles in the driveway.
You should have your dad in your videos more often love listening to him and his knowledge on stuff
Hard to imagine thats same shop as dark and dungeon as it was. Looks good
Both the remote networking and those Briefcase E-Bikes (BEB) are very very cool.
Love the tech,
love the wireless connectivity,
and functions!!!
It is all great when it works!!!
Thank you for a great video!!!!!
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Do a kick flip!
Obviously before the snow hit Wichita on Sat. Drove thru on Sun and the roads were still sketchy. Was wearing my new summer tires but I made it w/o visiting a ditch.
Woow, those look like something you'd see in a cartoon!
Those are some pretty sweet Hondas you got there!
looks like the mobility scooter chase with George Costanza from Seinfeld
I can relate to the moto scooter. I appears like post WWII "Exercycles" or stationary cycler used to trim and tone. Usually pictured with an easy-on-the-eye babe clad in a leotard, with no need to exercycle. Thanks. particularly post WWII.
Please.. do more stuff with Jake :)
Your steel shop is a Faraday Cage. Run cat6 to it.
That scooter would be so great to have at a big car event, show, swap meet, etc.
it's 19° this morning... the older heat pumps gave up around 37°. resistive heating makes the meter spin (it's digital now too), but it's still trying to heat pump it!
Great vids JR, can't wait for the great things to come.
I cant wait to see you run fiber to the shop that should be a most informative video.
I will recommend base pan heaters as well as ice and snow cover. Small roof.
Jake said" Siri lift my car" and siri on my phone woke up😂
Loving all the tech on the channel really interesting..
Why does this remind me of Hank & Dean Venture on their hover scooters? I guess you do also *technically* sort of live in a compound now, also
That wifi and remote controllers are pretty high tech. Looking good. How is the lake house coming along?
Kyle from boostedboiz needs some of these for the pits lol 😂
I just saw an ad for those Honda e-bikes, you should do an update after you have had them for awhile. Do not get rid of the skateboard though!
Need headstrap camera mount lol 😂
need headstrap camera mount-lol
10:10 UniFi all the things! 💯
You should run outdoor fiber to the shop
The scoreboard needs to happen!
Love the shop, another great project
Now your whole house can attack you when AI takes over the world.....😜
Nice job J.R. I love those bikes bro. 😅😅 🇨🇮🇨🇮

Whoa I remember that from the 80ties
The gas powered ones 😀 I bet they are worth a fortune now
That motorcycle looks like a Swiss Army credit card with wheels.
Ridge key wallet bike
Evel Knievel time.
Put a cool wrap on the motocompacto
Those little Hondas are cool! Can’t wait till you are back to working in and not on the shop. JR are you ever going to finish the 69 Camaro or the LS swapped Rolls?
My shop is also a cage of isolation. Hardwired mesh AP is the only way I can connect to anything. However that means I'm expected to answer calls....
"I am running cable" we love to hear it
Mini split adapter. I have a specific spot in my van to keep it. If not it disappears 😂
That has to be the goofiest vehicle ever. Looks like you are riding a folding table. Lmao
You've worked hard all year, and more, so it's good to kick off your shoes and play in the sand. Sort off? Having small fun Honda bikes in your new shop is fun, but they could have been more useful in the old shop, to fetch tools.

Love from Scotland 🎧📻📽📺
Those scooters are excellent birth control!
Lol those bikes be gold in my honda kei truck 😂
Absolutely, could make a holder for a bunch standing up like briefcases 💼
I have a scoreboard I still need to hang in my shop. It’s an old hockey one. It is 17 feet long. I am redoing it so I can control all the numbers.
I vote for the Jumbotron suspended in the middle!
I remember you did that R8 in your garage at home.
I don't understand why you just don't get the wireless unlicensed point to point that the same company, unify sells. I used them in a warehouse to warehouse and was fairly impressed with the speeds.
78 is a little warm. I woild never let if go above 70. I worked in a carpentry shop 4 years ago where the temperature was never set above 60
Those Hondas. I always wondered who would buy these; I have my answer. Hope you enjoy them.
The I.T. side of my brain is doing a dance. Cool geek stuff JR
Like Jakes hat... Does he have a Moto Guzzi?
You HAVE to do "Siri lift my car" just once, for the lulz and internet points! :)
Pure James Bond! Where’s Q?
Good Evening John Ross
🥉 hey Douglas!
My shop is a gauss cage… Steel roof and walls, inside and out. I had to put a cell repeater up, which worked great until the Mike/Nextel/Clearnet network was decommissioned...
When are you going to get an NSX? I want to see if it lives up to the hype
