At 73 I'll just live vicariously thru you guys. Enjoy you're young back while you have them.
Isn't that the truth. Weight training and forcing myself to squat and not bend over saved mine. I was out of commission and not able to work 13 years ago. I can work circles around the youngsters now at 58.
"You don't tan, you rust up there" As a PNW prospector, that is a beautiful line! :)
Very nice to see an old gold mine come to life, these guys are fun to watch I wish them well.
Great Vid, Cheers, Loving the Gremlin hiding the mine at 3:37, it's the mean one with the stripe too!!
Great to see miners getting together! Jason hope you and Dan enjoyed your mining vacation, looks like fun.
Nice to see you again Jason. I've missed your posts. It's great you are doing the collaborations with other miners. MO seems to be a great operation. The guys are nice as well.
You guys are awesome! Thank you for reopening this mine and giving it another life! Love your passion for this project.
Nice having all of you guys in one bit ago working together hearing all the different points of view and terminology. 👍🏻👍🏻
The best video my friend ,, Very inspiring. Goodluck,,Greetings from a traditional Indonesian gold miner 🇮🇩⛏️🌸💪🌹
Very cool, Jason! It's way more interesting to see little operations than big ones. Definitely some time, thinking, and hard work went in there. Love it!
Looks like a well run operation and good to see the guys using appropriate respiratory protection when working in a dusty environment. Thanks for the video Jason.
That is why they normally drill with water jets.
@@donaldkasper8346 Yeah, horrible rates of silicosis in the Mogollon district spurred the development of wet drills. They have an internal nozzle (called a water needle) that injects water into the hole via a channel in the steel. Works great.
@@Porty1119 Even with masks, dust covers all their clothes.
3-1 video! Three channels filming at the same time!
Nice to see the everyman getting an operation up .
You guys are legend!! My hats off to you!! MINERS!! The real deal!! Godspeed fellas
Incredible Jason! I wish I was with you! Thrilled to see old mines coming back to life! Stay safe! Jim
Dang it, I'm all excited to see what comes from that ton.
Hopefully Jason can be of assistance to this team. Seems like they want to be mining and Jason has the skills in the mill.
that PAPR setup has gotta be nice in a mine. never considered it for that application strangely (I'm a welder, so we have the clear shield version for grinding)
Also, I love that hesitation when you hopped down and said you were going to start mucking for him and he clearly thought it was for the camera when he hesitated going back with the chipper. Nah dawg, Jason's here to WORK!
I love it, too many mining shows make way more of mining than it is.
there's something zen about just digging a hole that pays the bills .
Keep up the amazing work!
20:48 I love their track setup. smart using a big pully on a steel band like that. that thing probably rolls like honey on that setup
So great to see you back "on air".
Thanks for this video , a great example of how the miners worked , but back then no lights ,pitch black and the use of candle power and what about all that dust they inhaled , most would run a mile these days .. Cheers Jason , I just love your shows , Golden Triangle , Victoria , AU .
I love how Dan Hurd has simpler and more sensational videos that are awesome for anybody to watch, and you have the more technical and in depth (no pun intended) videos that go into way more detail on things. It makes for an awesome combination because Dan gets me interested and learning about what is going on, and then you satisfy my itch to know even more! You to are a perfect combo, each doing the type of video that the other isn’t and it creates a perfect package every time!
seems like your video quality has improved glad to see it thanks for another good video Jason
Thank you Jason and Dan!
Great to see you back Jason, I've missed watching your video's!
Absolutely awesome Jason!!!
Great content, hope to see more small mines.
There should be ten mines like this running in every county in the west!
@@Porty1119 but can you get the permits to reopen an old mine? ive been studying the mining sites near me that have been closed for many years and recently I came across a F.S. warning that it is illegal to prospect on an old mining site. It also warned that these old mines are historical sites that must be preserved as they are.
@@julielortz670 We've reopened two past-producing mines in New Mexico in the last few years and run sampling programs on two others. Permitting for small mines isn't a very big deal.
The only issue with prospecting old mines would be if the mine is on patented (private) ground or the claim is held by another party.
I am waiting with great anticipation for the next video. Good work Jason.
Good to see you're back!
It's good to see you Jason! I was beginning to fear you picked a little too much on a pillar! Love the videos stay safe!
Glad to see you back Jason. Hope you are well.
Ask Jeff Willams mouth must’ve been watering over all that high grade material🤤😂 between all of you guys, I’ve gotten so much more into geology, since I was younger I’ve been fascinated by rocks, I also love the outdoors/going on hikes!
Looks like you're having a great time with other miners, Jason. Fun to work together like that. Thanks for the video. Kuddos to Dan as well.
Welcome back brother!
Looking forward to the next report on this trip!!
Awesome video Jason. Very interesting stuff
Hallelujah! YOU'RE BACK!!!!
good to see u brought Dan to experience that Cali gold
As your outro was playing I was subscribing to there channel✌️ Napa California
Great video Jason! Looking forward to the results!
This was a lot of fun.
Thanks for the video content! I was getting a little concerned about you, cause I hadn’t seen anything recently.
Awesome video as always Jason, Thanks
Thanks Jason, very enjoyable video.
Gosh that is cool! Living vicariously through your adventures. Would love to get in there.
Great work Jason and Dan gold fever is real!
great bunch of guys!
Excellent video. Love the collaboration and how supportive you guys are to each other.
Man Jason where have you been? Been missing the videos! Great to see you again.
If you made the flanges wider or put a second set of wheels on the rear of your skip then put rails out side of the tipping area that would bring the rear of the skip up and tip it without having to scrape it out
Thank you for taking us down there to watch you dig for gold it was very. Interesting I liked it I hope that you find a lot of gold can't wait to see how much gold came out of there thank you I enjoyed the video😮❤❤❤😂😅😊😊😮
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH SIR. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND TEAM MEMBERS SIR.
Another great video Jason !
About time for another upload 😄
This is super awesome Jason!
Awesome video man. very cool mine they have there and looks very lucrative too. getting that Shiny is always a pain in the Hiny but gold is always good.
Put some high intensity ultrasonic warblers around the entrances to the mine and that should keep out anything other than rattlesnakes [not sure if it bothers them or not], although it will also keep out bats, so people might not like that idea...
Cool video
Thought that looked like my neck of the 🏜 👋 welcome Jason 🙏
the grimlin was great!
It looks like hard and dangerous work but it must be so rewarding to have the instant gratification of panning a bucket or two of your work to verify the results of you labor. If I could dig a hole in my backyard and start pulling out gold I think I would do it everyday. lol
Excellent video and what a great operation they have going on there! 👌❤️💛💚
Very very cool I just wand a bag of what they tossed on the waist pile lol
Keep working. Good luck!
New video finally woho! =)
Good to see these guys wearing breathing protection
Always great videos
When the vein got down to a half inch, the miners quit and volunteered to fight in WWII for the pay.
Well obviously they are hinting that they need better processing equipment (Jason) I’m sure you’ll work something out to get them what they need very interesting video looking forward to the next one and dans to see some color thanks mineoperator for sharing your mine with us see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Great footage again!
When are you going to process the helicopter ore?
Awesome content 🎉
so incredible.. great video..
Look like some good fun
The best thing about this video is your sweatshirt.
Isn't 2% about 40 pounds per ton? So you'd get about 130 per ton minus cost? Maybe good bonus pay
The gremlin was a highlight :D
Jason, Pioneer Pauly, from Vancouver, B.C., is missing! Hehe!
Good stuff. I don't remember subbing but wish I had been watching more.
Deep Purple made some good ROCK music in the 70s
Jason ready to muck for free like he’s makin 10 ounces a day. Mine operators actually payout money daily to mine. We are some crazy kooks aren’t we????
The content itself is gold:)
Paid daily because rocks might collapse on you so you better have lived good the day before!
If the gold is in the deep purple area. A good name for the mine would be “smoke on the water”
Or Machine Head for the Album it came from.
Man I looked yesterday to see if I missed some videos and it’s been over a month. I was wondering if you were ok and bam a video.
NICE
There's no water in this shaft, water table is the main task to worry about in the mines in East Africa 😢
Awesome dude that is what's up
Awesome vid!
If they heap leach, all of the copper can become economically viable for them.
Provided it's oxide (or chalcocite), leaching with sulfuric acid raffinate would work well. The vein looks weathered enough that oxide is a real possibility. They could then plate the PLS onto tin cans to make what's called cement copper, if any scrapyards nearby would buy it in that form.
Goblin at 3:34
Great video Jason! I’d love to get together and do collaboration with you sometime. It looks fun
Mining Gold on a small scale like this seems so labor intensive and so much dirt has to be moved to get so little Gold. Must feel good to hit a Gold Vein where it becomes extremely profitable.
The old timers in the big mines would high grade close to the time of paying the investors in order to not have them divest the shares. Many of the small mines that high graded have left lots of gold in the tailings. When cyanide was discovered many mine dumps were put through the process to recover millions in gold and other metals.
@@paulcallicoat7597 I know some guys who made a *lot* of money reprocessing old dump material in New Mexico 30 years ago.
YEAAAH!⚒ AND LETS NOT FORGET THE GOBLIN AT 03:36-03:39 🤠
One of the timbers had a bunch of tally marks on it. Jason, any comment on what that was for? Around 7:30 time
Each tally mark is a load of ore that was hauled out of the mine.
If you've seen dan's video already you can skip to about 12:52 and then watch from there. Its pretty much the same video except from MBMM's view. The gold that Dan gets from his panning is the other side of that portion to the end. A caveat tho, there are details that dan just references, so if you're a Dan fan and want to see the other half, go there, otherwise watch the whole thing cuz this one shows the detail of that info that dan kinda skips over.
You should see if you can get in over with TVR Exploring before his mine is too big. they're already blasting and getting core samples
Amazing!
Great video.. That was one impressive litle air hammer he had there. And I almost think it's the same price running it as a big electric if running on a diesel compressor. Becourse the electric will run on a generstor. and it will save the back
Nice
Guys, it looks like your at the Richat structure, Mauritania👀
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Thanks for showing the truth.
So what particles are needed to load a particle collider to create gold or other precious metals
Have you thought about a vacuum pump like they use on opal mines
Hiya Jason
Hi Jason, I want to ask what kind of tools you used for drilling / chirping rocks in that tunnel. I'm a small miner and just starting... from the Philippines.
Hi Jason, we have good grounds in Tanzania, ask the brothers to come to Tanzania for sight seeing will, there plenty of Gold in Africa it just needs some investments
