So the guy never did anything wrong and only really helped people.
exactly, he didn’t scam he js helped everyone out , its free him
Dude is an inspiration, if he ONLY serves 3 years and if there is even 1 million left when he gets out , it was 1000% worth it.
Most people will NEVER have 1 million regardless of what they do
You don’t know Feds very well, he’s going to be on probation and will have to account for every dime, he’s not going to be rich and has to do at least 4.6 years minimum.
Aint no way in hell bruh dont got some cash stashed or buried
@styner3 You don't know criminals very well.
They be thinking about how to hide money while they broke living with momma
If dude did ANYTHING with his money that wasn't on the books , there would be major cake left.
Feds are just fancy cops , they still don't know anything they are not told or can't find, they are fancy cops ,not magic cops lol
Even a lowly detective can look at all your online stuff via your isp, Feds ain't much different in scope
@@djyua9157 Spending like he does, I doubt he has anything significant stashed away. If he doesn't, he's screwed as a convicted felon he'll have a hard time doing anything worthwhile that isn't also illegal. If he does, he's still probably screwed with all of the money he has to pay and the fact that they will be watching any accounts associated with him.
@@kcgunesq you don’t know anything about what’s going on or if any of that is true you just making assumptions
Here's an update, as some of this stuff isn't entirely true. He was only fined 11 million as the FBI raided and shut down Gears TV in 2019. He was jailed for not paying taxes. All the other charges were dropped due to the fact that IPTV was still legal back when. And all the money he made since was by legal means. After the whole Gears Reloaded stuff, he made bank flipping houses. So when he gets out in about a year or so (because I doubt he'll be spending more time than that behind bars), he'll be just fine.
You have to serve 80% fed time so he wont do nothing less then 4 years
made by legal means my ass. but eh, we may never know unless he’s exposed. but he’s 100% getting dirty money. and there’s a lot of ways to make dirty money so please nobody think that i think he moves weight lmfaoo
That’s crazy… child predators get jail time for 3-5 years at times and this man got 5 for providing tv n shows at a cheaper price … dang..
Both crimes can ruin people's lives
Just like Capone, if he would have paid his Taxes, he wouldn't have even seen a court 😂
Thank you for the AMAZING advice on getting a CPA!
Taxes aren't something to F around with!
The guy who made that design on the rug you use in your setup passed away recently. It would be cool if you researched his art and did a video about him.
This story still baffles me, that and the story about the French guy who flooded his towns sewer system with orbeez
The story about the french dude flooding his towns sewer system was GOATed lol
I mean, respects to him for not sugar coating his wrong doings
Why? He’s a thief, it’s all undeniable; why props for a low life thief?
@@tsak912 he at least admitted to it.
Omi should kept things on the low and moved to a legal hustle asap
he actually wanted to go to jail and become a rapper
He could have stayed out of jail if he would have bought a large estate and stayed out of that Karen type neighborhood. He was balling but didn't understand the white Karens hate. I'm a white guy but if I had money like that I wouldn't want to live that close to white folks. They hate a lifestyle like that. Listen to the Karen talking about vests and whatnot. If you got it like that don't ball out of control around people like that. Haters love crushing people's dreams.
@@stellviahohenheim dumb asf
yeah facts he literally threw all that shit out there in our faces, indirectly though!
This whole thing is just crazy to me.
First of all: Something i never understood about people doing illegal things is just, WHY would you say what your doing? I don’t get it.
Second thing, WHAT do you need that many cars for? I don’t get why rich people are so obsessed with expensive cars. Is it just cause they can?
Finally the thing that is absolutely absurd to me: 500 Years?! What the actual hell!? Just for that? Just for selling a USB Drive with movies and Cable TV on it? That does not deserve 500 years, even if it got replaced by 5 years. 500 years shouldn’t of even been considered.
I’m thinking that it was originally 50 years and Atozy just fumbled his words a bit, but even 50 years is way too high just for that
Fun Fact: Government HATES competition.
what he is doing is illegal bruh has nothing to do with competittion. he was stealing from 100s of companies

Man I mean, he seems REALLY reasonable in response to everything. I respect the guy tbh. Just getting his bag 🤣
Sure
I can give two answers as too why a ton of news stories have b-roll of a door knock. A) It sells B) They often get it as proof that they made attempts to contact the person for comment. (But mostly A)
He seems more reasonable after he said that he thinks the sentence was fair.
@YeaMan I say it's not (not a bot or a lie)
I mean if he was facing 20-500 years he cant really say anything else (plus his lawyer properly told him how to act both prior and after to insure the plea deal which generally requires people to seem like they are taking responsibility for their crimes and regret them). And if he has millions hidden anyway somewhere it's nothing. Most people would properly voluntarily sell 5 years of their life for a couple handful of millions.
@@martinaasandersen3775 Just because they were seeking that doesn’t mean it was realistic and even if it was, a lot of people wouldn’t react like this and would play victim and fight it until the end, regardless of whether he had a lawyer or not.
@@josephgelinas7283 Pretty hard to play the victim in a case like this :)
@@martinaasandersen3775 That doesn’t stop people and it also doesn’t change that he is being reasonable.
I hope when he gets out that he does stay out of trouble. He seemed to take responsibility for his actions and hopefully a bit mor humbler when he posts online.
Fun Fact: Pirating a Michael Jackson album can land you 5+ years in prison.
...meanwhile, killing Michael Jackson only gets you 2 years.
2 years if it's an accident, 20 if it was on purpose.
Whooa I’m early. Hope you’re doing well!! ❤
I remember in the 90s that families with little income depended on cable dudes that kinda did this. There is a kind of respect for those who risk themselves to help out the little guys who cant spend too much. I mean I also understand the legalities but...
Honestly, other than the materialistic part of him, he seems like a good feller. Heres hoping that he makes a legit buisness that still provides an amazing service
Omi's such a decent dude too, He's really trying to go totally legal, i hope He gets a easy ride.
He seems like the type of person to go on an shopping spree the day after robbing a bank.
wow you've been following this story for such a long time! top tier journalism bro
props
I've known him for about 7 years and I can say he really is a good dude. He isn't a close friend, I've gotten to know him decently, though. He made some mistakes, but he's learned his lesson.
Lol thought it was RiceGum for a sec 😂
He took that like a man. He is going to come out, still have money and keep going up
he took that lick to the chin and manned up on it. life isn’t over baby ‼️ gotta keep moving on

Rando: This video looks ancient,
Me: Noo its only 3 years old!? I remember seeing this in theaters,
I want to see a finance video from you! I think you giving financial advice would be awesome! Especially to people in our age group (97' babies)
For real. As a 23 year old I’m still figuring taxes out. It takes me awhile to get explanations so school never bothered, not that it really did with other kids either.
Knowing I wasn’t going too far in life (atleast what the school system told me) they could’ve at least reached me the basics I needed to know.
I wish I could meet this man, seems like a chill guy.
it’s all for the cameras my guy. he doesn’t act like this to anyone that isn’t family or close enough to being family. or obviously business partners.
I never heard of him, if only he stayed away from yt. He lived near me and I never heard about this!! It's sad that people have murdered other people and don't get that much time!! Are legal system is warped!!
The best thing I can say he is more of an entrepreneur then some people these days
All thieves are entrepreneurs
Yall be on here saying whatever 🤣😂😂 be lucky he was just stealing from them and not you
It takes a real man to admit when he’s wrong and to take accountability for his actions I’ve got respect for him
That shot of the cat looking out the window while all that was going down was hilarious
The case of Omi serves to illustrate 3 important rules:
1. Do not comment on any litigation you are currently involved in.
2. DO NOT EVER comment on any litigation you are currently involved in.
3. STOP FUCKING COMMENTING ON LITIGATION YOU ARE INVOLVED IN.
To be fair to Omi about the shoes, Nike has been handing out C&Ds like Skittles lately after years of letting companies like Bape rip off their designs. He likely came up with the shoe, thinking it was fine.
That's tuff, I only got 50 in my bank
You are way more of a winner than he is
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a company being fined that much let alone an individual
