Diffusing essential oils is one of the easiest ways to reap all the benefits of aromatherapy, which include:
- Supporting your physical wellness
- Inspiring a positive emotional state
- And of course, neutralizing odors
Some oils that I love to diffuse are:
Peppermint and Lemon for a natural wake me up
Frankincense for a spiritual uplift
Orange oil to boost my mood
Peace & Calming to relax me and the kids at night

A very kind FB friend who I have never actually met sent me a little "care package" for Christmas as I am pretty much alone. She included a bottle of essential oil and thanks to the both of you I am ordering my first diffuser. Nice video short and sweet. Clicking on the link!
So glad it was helpful!! Enjoy!
Oil floats on water, so how does the diffuser work around that? I imagine it sucks the water from the bottom for every mist. Does it mix the water before every mist?
I just started using a diffuser that came with essential oils and an starting with peppermint. We have a Yorkie who recently has been diagnosed with heart disease. I hope that using essential oils with at least help her breathing and not harm her in any way! 💖🐶👍
I'd just bought one. Thank you for sharing this amazing tutorials and good information about difusser with essence, I love this channel. ♥️
You are so welcome! So glad the videos are helpful--thanks for watching!
Such a calming relaxing voice ! My friend gave me his , and I’ve been addicted to the peppermint
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you so much for sharing the step-by-step tutorials! 😊
You're so welcome!
Thank You SO MUCH for this safety info! I knew most of this info and I had a few oils in my head and you named them! Yay!
Wow, this is exactly what I needed. I've been using reed diffusers but they don't last long. I had no idea how an electric one worked. Thank you so much. Can't wait to try it.
i buy that can put 3 liter of water 😂, 12 hours still alive
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Just clicked the like button and subscribed - looking forward to more great content from your channel!
Today is my first time today using peppermint. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 😊
well, look at that.. I happen to have lemon and peppermint essential oils. tried them together and I agree that combo is awesome.
So good!
Love citrus essential oil
I use a main stays diffuser I love it for covering cigar smoke like I love smoking but I hate the stench plus it's safe I know smoking isn't healthy but my favorite is mixing lavender and peppermint it has a calming uplifting effects for gaming plus there more mild I just love the essential oils I'm trying to get my friends to switch from using insense to a diffuser I used to use a cool mist humidifier as a diffuser that works the best for scents in my opinion
Thanks for this video my coworker gave me this defuser and some oils I have peppermint in now but I didn’t think to try peppermint & lemon I have them both thank you for this video ❤
Hope you like it!
Fantastic thank you “mama”
my favourite oil to use on a difusser is the peppermint smell plus i dont know why but her voice makes me so relaxed
It's so good!
You had me at bible study, sweetie!!!! I'm looking for something like this as my whole household is sick, including myself. I feel like essential oils could help me and my loved ones significantly. I'm new to this, though, so I'm looking to see how to use these. Thank you for a very informative video. God bless you 🙏
Great video! It was very helpful :)
Thank you for watching!!
Just starting to do this. Thank you for the info
Any time!
Love cinnamon, eucalyptus, peppermint and lavender
Yes!! Those are all awesome choices!
Is there any oils that can be used to kill any mold or old attic smell? Anything that could disinfect germs, mold etc? Is there another that could keep bugs away (guessing eucalyptus) for this
Loved everything about this video🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. 🎄
Awwww so glad!! Thanks for watching!
Hi, I want to mix some essential oils for migraine, please can you recommend a recipe, also do I mix them all together in a bottle and use the mixture when required or should I drip them straight into my diffuser, thank you so much..😊
My favorite is eucalyptus. I use it daily.
That's an awesome choice!
Can i use all the oils at once or will that be to strong ? how many drops of oil is the limit on that little water ?
I two different diffusers and one I like because it says how long do I want it to stay on but it doesn’t work I plug it in all the time on my dresser but when I turn it on, the light is on, but it turns back off oh and for the smells of essential oils, my favorites are:
1. Lemongrass
2. Lavender
3. Cedarwood
Thanks for the info, gonna try use a diffuser for better focus on my work :)
You're so welcome! Hope it works well for you!!
Finally got one in the last qtr of the previous year, I've been waiting over 2 years to get one... Excited to dive into the aromatherapy space! Thanks for sharing your recipes... Btw, I tried your link to your book and I believe your link's broken 😑 Welp
Thanks for the heads up! And thanks for watching!!
Hi Mama thankyou for your video, you indicated the number of oil drops to in your
demo, however did not specify the amount of water , how much water did you add.
There is big difference between 3 drops for 100ml compared with 300ml.
What is your recommendation per100m of water. For example mine holds up to 500ml
but i do not always want to completely fill it
Thank you for the info. is it safe to keep this running with new born baby (2months) in the room?
Thank you
Lemongrass is THE best :)
Hi, i barely smell my diffuser from a distance i wish it would be stronger, i already added a bunch of drops, is it supposed to be like this? i got a brand new diffuser
Is it possible to mix essential oils together in a nebulizing diffuser which does not use water?
so I brought a diffuser the other day and I brought some different oils I have tried different oils but they’re not strong enough I mean the smell is not as good unless I’m close up to the diffuser I can’t smell it and I use about 10 drops what am I doing wrong is there any tips on hints that can make it better
I can’t tell what oils are safe and gentle.. I have a song with allergies and skin conditions and I wanna find essential oils for myself without harming him plz can you help ? X
Can i use fragrance oil in these diffusers?
I recently found out some essential oils are toxic to dogs and cat so you have to be very careful which scent you use. I was told this when I was actually shopping for oils for the first time. Now I am hesitant. I want my animals to stay safe. Can you help with this? Thank you.
Can i ask you which oil you think is best suited for a gift? My friend recently bought a diffuser and she loves it, i want to buy her some essential oils as a birthday gift, but im not very knowledgeable about scents and oils, i would appreciate it if i could hear your opinion 💕
Lavender and citrus essential oils are always versatile choices for gifts!
I don’t have a diffuser, I have an air humidifier, can I put essential oils in my humidifier? Is that possible?
Do you happen to know why my diffuser looses its scent as time goes on. Like it will be super duper strong when i first add the oils (5 drops normally) but then an hour or so later you can barely smell anything?
Thanks oot!😊
You're welcome 😊
Thanks mama.
Welcome!!
do i put it in my water every time it runs out of the diffuser?
Hi were can I get essential oils from I live in the UK please
How often should you clean the difuser?
Whenever you notice that it doesn't appear clean--the EOs going through it usually keep it pretty clean though!
How many of these would you recommend for a 645 sq ft apartment?
great video!
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
so do you just leave it on in the room or do you have to sit by the diffuser and inhale or how does it work?
Just turn it on and leave it!
How do you c lean the diffuser
Awesome imfo thank you ..will be getting one..a friend has one it always smells good at his house..do they make a sandalwood oil?
Yes they sure do!
@@mamanatural thank you
What is the water capacity for the diffuser? 100 ml, 200 ml? beyond? I searched for the specifications but couldn't find them anywhere, maybe you could help. Thanks
Different diffusers have different capacities--I believe this particular diffuser is around 150ml.
@@mamanatural thank you!
Is it safe to use for 4 yr olds, eucalyptus?
Hi, thank for video. May I know what eo that safe for cat?
I was told that essential oils don't mix with water, how are you getting the two to mix?
I have just started to get into using diffusers due to going into a hotel and it smelt wonderful, I asked the lady behind the counter and she said it was sandalwood and vanilla, so now I use only those 2 oils
Sounds lovely!
Which oils are safe for homes with pets?
Cool I am in. Know more than before, great job. 😮💖
♥️♥️♥️
I loved your video. I’m wondering if it will aggravate my allergies to perfume since my skin is sensitive. I would like to try the lavender to see if it will help my mother sleep. Ty!!
Perfume and essential oils are very different substances-you can always do a spot check on your skin with a diluted amount of essential oil to see what your particular reaction is before diffusing!
What happens i leave it on overnight and it runs out of water? Is that bad for the diffuser?
Thanks for sharing, the one for Bible study caught my attention.
i love ylang ylang! it smells like chanel perfume!
It DOES!! It’s wonderful!
Hi there thank you for the video! I recently received a diffuser from my parents but I would like to know how to clean it for a new sent. If anyone knows please reply. Anyways thank you for the video it’s nice to learn more about diffusers!
Did cleaning instructions come with it? If not, rinsing out the water reservoir and cleaning the top with hot soapy water should work.
It did I did not understand them until reading over them again
@@randomcat7674 throw out all your water and then wipe it down with a clean tissue or cloth and then fill it up with water again and then add 1 tablespoon white vinegar and run it for 15 minutes... When ita done throw out the vinegar and then add water with your new choice of oil... Do this every 5 times depending how often you use your disfuser to help so the plating doesn't get clogged with oil
@@Free_Free_Palestine0 the manual told me not to put vinegar or any of that type of stuff but thanks for the suggestion
Where are you sending it to?
I do use it ❤❤
That's great!
So which is better? A diffuser or a humidifier that can handle oils?
A diffuser is best for oils--humidifiers will heat and denature the oils.
So I'm curious are there more benefits to using a diffuser to a oil burner or are they about the same?
An oil burner does not disperse the oil particles into the air, which means that you will not have the same benefits. Heating the oils also changes the chemical composition of the oils, which further reduces benefits and generally isn't recommended for essential oils.
Amazing! Can't wait to try those scents :))
You should! Hope you like them!
ok bud
I’m a recent young living member. Love their oils! Are there any oils you recommend to avoid while pregnant? Topically and aromatic?
It's best to follow the manufacturer directions for use in pregnancy, especially since there is not much research for EO use in pregnancy ;-)
If I remember rightly avoid Clary Sage but I'm not an aromatherapist. If you are in UK check with Neal's Yard
can I use perfume or facial mist for that? I don’t have essential oils and I can get them until my birthday :( I only have face mist so I was wondering if it was dangerous
No! Only essential oils should be used in a diffuser!
Mine would diffuse the mist but it would go up and then back down. I had to keep a towel under it yo protect the counter. I also had to be careful and not let the mist get on the floor. I gave it up. I only use the Vicks humidifier and products now.
It sounds like maybe it was missing the part in the top that creates the fine mist-there are a TON of really amazing and affordable diffusers on the market now!
I dont see the diffuser or oil amazon link in the description
question here: how long do those 2-3 droplets last? as in how often should i reput oils in the diffuser??
The oil will last as long as there is still water in the diffuser. Add new oil anytime you replace the water!
What would be Helpful is if You Could Tell Us Type of Difusser or is IT a Non Warming Humidifier Type?
THANK YOU,
Most diffusers are non-warming ;-)
Every baby develops at a different rate! No need to freak out--especially if your babe is meeting their other milestones! Just continue to offer plenty of tummy time and schedule an appointment with your pediatrician if you get really concerned!
I love it but after marriage i am afraid to use wrong one in case I am pregnant. Help plz.
My favourite Essential oil is LAVENDER☂️ 💜🍇🟪
It’s a classic, one to love for sure ;-)
hello! thank you for the video. just wanted to ask you if u need cotton subs or are they not necessarily
You should only need what the diffuser comes with! You’re very welcome!
@@mamanatural thank you very much x
How do you get for the drops to come out so easily
Just gently shake the bottle once :-)
I'm trying my diffuser
Go to it!! Hopefully you LOVE it!
I love frankincense but can’t quite get used to myrrh.
Put half that bottle in my humidifier. It's intense when you open the lid and smell the water but the room is 100% odorless. No idea why.
I just bought one should I use warm or cold water
Just tap water!
My lavender essential oil has no aroma. Is it expired?
How long does it take for the scent to no longer come out the mist? I feel like mines doesn't throw out scent for that long
Your nose will become accustomed to the smell. As long as there is oil in the diffuser and the diffuser is running, then the fragrance and other benefits will be dispersed into the air.
@@mamanatural can you put tea tree oil in a hot humidifier?
What stops the diffuser from disspensi the mist
User error
@@patriciakknapp7726 no water or too much
I just bought one. how did you get the bottle to drop the oils. I sat there holding it upside down for ten minutes even tried shaking it hard.
Tip it and let it drip!
@@mamanatural tried that. I'm guessing the insert is bad as I got another and it works
Is distilled water the best for this?
Not necessarily but it definitely cannot hurt!
Do you have to use oils or can you use perfume?
Only essential oils are recommended for use in a diffuser. They’re a completely different chemical compound than perfumes, so it may be unsafe to diffuse perfume.
Don’t you spray some alcohol in to break up the oils so they blend with the water? I find oils clog up my filter and eats away at the plastic in my machine.
Thank you I would be lost. And my wife usually do it ❤😂
You’re some welcome! Thanks for watching!
I was told by a Holistic Nutritionist not t use Frankincense in a cold diffuser. What are your thoughts on this?
Hmmmm. I’ve personally never heard this. Did he give a reasoning?
@@mamanatural No but I will ask her the next time I see her.
Hi sir, did you find out yet? i also would like to know the reason.@@jdw1941
Can you smoke the air coming out of the diffuser or is it bad to?
That is not advised, no 😬
Sorry, I just had to laugh! I just got an image of me standing over my diffuser trying to catch the wafts of smoke rising..
🥰
Hello… nice video, but the link to your 88 ways to use oils takes me to other sites that I don’t want to go to…. Can you check on that link? Thanks…. Ron
We will check ;-)
Does the diffuser come with at least one oil?
It depends on the brand you purchase-sometimes you can get them together!
It may be simple but please tell me how to turn my diffuser on?
There’s a power button on all diffusers ;-)
What oils do you use?
ALL kinds!! There are so many with different uses!
Can you spray cologne in there?
Nope-you should only use essential oils designed for use in a diffuser.
Cool mist or warm mist?
All essential oil diffusers use cool mist!
thank you for this video i was adding too much oil LOL
Glad I could help!
When I click on the link all I get is an membership advertisement for streaming and a phone cleaner, No guide.
How long would an oil last?
In a tightly closed bottle, essential oils have no expiration date.
how would i know bozo

Do you sell Young Living Essential Oils in Canada?
I am sure someone does sell them in Canada!
How is the diffuser called?
It’s just called an essential oil diffuser ;-) there are many brands
all humidifier manufacturers warn not to add essential oils? what we should listen
