My local high end store has Wilson speakers and so I've heard the Sasha Vs driven by D'Agostino amps and the only thing I can say negative about them is that it's very unlikely I'll EVER be able to afford them. But what comes out of them is just effortlessly natural, dynamic, and RIGHT. I have quite good equipment myself, but these are on another level. They just get out of the way and let you experience pure music with essentially no practical limitations.

So they added sloped handles for better sound, then the next gen they removed them? Also, all footers are acoustic diodes.

Is that Velcro on the front baffles to affix the grilles to? Seems like the brilliant engineering minds could come up with a more elegant solution for such a high-priced investment??

That is exactly what it is. Back in the 90's/early 2000's the Wilson grills were pieces of very porous foam cut to size, no frames, that just stuck on the Velcro. Not particularly attractive IMO, speaking as an owner of a pair of W/P 6's.

For that kind of money insane! I will stick with my Legacy audio speakers.@@marksironi3324

@@marksironi3324 in all fairness, am sure they sound fabulous, especially if you're powering them with a great D'Agostino, Gryphon, darTzeel, Karan, or similar amp with just a bit of headroom! Lolol!!

      "V material" stands for Velcro!

At the time, Wilson did not find any fabric weave that worked as well as the foam/velcro solution. Not as elegant, but he didn't want to compromise

Are the watt puppy 8s still competitive with the Sasha’s or totally different class of speaker ?

49k list for this mediocre turd. I listened to it for 2 hours at my local dealer. Not bad, but worth more than a good care? No way. You are paying for their marketing and paint job
