Since I live in Ukraine i am using 8cm version wallet and our largest bill is the same as Yen ( there is 1 mm difference). So i can easily say that this wallet will fit Yen ( UAH size is 75x160mm and Yen size is 76x160- these are the largest bills)

That makes perfect sense :) The amount that is cut off just looked a bit too wide (at least what I could judge from the video), almost half of the glued surface inside. That got me a bit confused, since I go much more conservative with the trimming :) Thanks for sharing!

@@stefanomicolucci3828 easy, but don’t stretch leather on rolling places cuz at the end you will have some extra leather sticking out. Basically be easy on it, and don’t glue it all the way up at the start

What is the point of the additional cutting at the end (7:09)? I might be missing something, but why not just make the template shorter?
After cutting of this piece you end up with a perfect straight line.
It is almost impossible to make the same just glueing piece together.

@@Nazguloid some people cut about 4-5 mm ( usually I cut smaller strip but for a video purposes I made that cut a bit bigger 😉)

I think leather you used was thicker than 1.6 mm.
Exactly this one is 1,4mm ( i am always checking cuz it may end up with some gaps or extra leather after folding this wallet)
7:30 have you got the chance to measure the thickness of 5 layers at the bottom of final product?
