Richard Street was so talented but went so unrecognized and underappreciated. He was the spinning Temptation and how he could spin. It's so fun to watch.
That was a great guest spot on the Love Boat. I always liked the show, but this Mermaids/Temptations combo packed a great punch. It also wasn't lip-synched to the earlier 70s version of I Can't Get Next to You. Luckily, I saw the Temptations on stage once, with Otis Williams (only original member alive today), and I saw Dennis Edwards' tribute group in 2000. By that time, Edwards was big as a house, but still so much fun to watch and listen to. :)
Melvin did every single hair trend until the end. He seemed like such a fun person. 😂🥰 I admit I stopped paying attention after Paul passed and Eddie left but I'll have to get into post-Paul Temptations and hear their original songs.

I never watched Love Boat on TV. Seems I missed out if they had great acts like The Temps on there!
Ali Woodson had a brilliant voice!

Is Ron the second longest serving Temptation? I'm pretty sure he's still with them even now?
The future Lois Lane, singing and dancing with The Mermaids.

Nah. Will never compare to Dennis, Eddie & Paul sorry
Ain’t nobody coming to see Otis Williams.
