You mentioned nothing about frequency coordination. This could lead a new person to buy one of these simple HT repeaters, pick a random frequency pair, and end up interfering with an already established, properly coordinated repeater.

Wouldn't it be a - offset? I thought you sit on the rx frequency and when you key up it follows offset to tx? Idk I may be confusing myself lol
