    Wouldn't it be a - offset? I thought you sit on the rx frequency and when you key up it follows offset to tx? Idk I may be confusing myself lol

    You mentioned nothing about frequency coordination. This could lead a new person to buy one of these simple HT repeaters, pick a random frequency pair, and end up interfering with an already established, properly coordinated repeater.

      Good point, thanks. This was intended as a view from “30,000 feet”. I plan to get into building an actual repeater next video. I’ll be sure to make that point then. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
