I have answered as many questions as I could and still keep the video a reasonable length. I will definitely be doing another Q&A in a few months. If you have any questions you would like me to answer please leave them in the comments below.😊
Another fantastic episode . Just the other day we were filming an episode at a free campsite. A young lady came up to us and she mentioned she follows a solo female RUclipsr ! And if you haven’t guessed it was you. It’s not the first time we’ve been told by a solo female traveller that they follow you. Keep up the great work you’re inspiring women and men ( like us ) everywhere . Keep up the good work , so nice to see you back on the road. It’s fantastic to see van life community growing every day. Safe travels.
I’m 6’1” and live in a low roof van (1360mm internal height)....as long as you can sit upright, all is good. 👍 No cupboards below knee height is best. You forgot laundry option 4 ... hand washing.😅
Lovely to hear your happiness and positivity again. You did a video about money spent, and it blew me away, the discipline, the detail, and the record keeping. I am terrible with money, no matter how much comes in, I feel anxious until it is spent, and then wonder where it went. I must watch that video again for tips. Go well, you and dear Abby.
I am a bookkeeper so keeping track of money is what I do for a living. I also wasn’t very good with money management but I have spent the last 5 years getting it under control.
Hi Brenna, I have just finished watching all your vids so far and it's very evident that you have come a long way and, as you mentioned - you're not the same person you were when you started the journey. you actually seem to have slowed down and exude more confidence, well done mate, you've demonstrated to this old man that there is life after mortgages/marriage/working etc etc etc, like you - I have a yearning to travel solo in my van with my dog but the issue of an ongoing mental battle is holding me back. in the meantime I continue to watch and escape into your vids (and a few others worth watching) contributing where I feel like I have something constructive to offer. Keep up the good work and if you're in SW sydney again during your travels drop me a line and we would be happy to buy you and Abby a coffee and say g'day. Cheers
I allso plan to do this in the near future. Like you I also have a few clients whom I service remotely. It really helps watching your videos, thank you!
Thank you, once again, putting up a video, we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Look forward to your next one. Please keep up the good work. Thanks Simon 😊💐🚑🍻
This was a lovely down to earth video. Love your channel, got a second hand camper trail, same as going overland. There washing video is good watch. I built the frame for ezywash. It's really good. Russell
Thanks for all of your great videos ❤ Wondering how you do your grocery shopping with Abby, particularly in smaller outback towns? I imagine easy to utilise "Click&Collect" in larger towns but outback presents a different set of circumstances. Thanks heaps 😊
Thanks for telling us how you do your laundry - I don't think any other video I've watched (and I've watched hundreds from around the globe) have mentioned this. Thanks!
Oh wow hello 'yes good to see u have a new upload/video 'Iv actually been really getting into my lil star-wagon n working on her for the last 10 or so days 'every single day n to be honest i haven't worked this hard in a few years but yep im all set to go on my new little adventure next weekend Brenda n so exited so it was nice to se a new video from u especially as u r the only Australian worth subscribing to so far that iv found that lives full time in there van, Ok so i haven't watched it yet but but just wanted to say Hi, Ok well on wit the show ) 'Stay well n safe travels my friend. p/s yes i found WiKi camps last month 'I haven't used it yet but it will come in super handy soon. Love that your are doing this on your own as it makes me feel like it could be something I am capable of doing. I am also a bookkeeper. I only have a tent so I do feel I am more vulnerable. Ha e u ever had and scary experiences
@@BrennaLivingJoyfully thanks so much for answering me, really didn't expect to get a reply. Where are you now, I live in Perth and if you are around, would love to catch up and have a chat or meet you on the road somewhere. Also what program do you use to make your videos to add to you tube 😊
Thank you for answering my questions... It was great to hear the answers. I have been following you for a while. I have altered me name since I wrote to you... I am just Travel Adventures Australia now. I travel when I can and vlog and blog about my journey's until next year when I will be buying a van and with my dog and cat we will be travelling full time.
Thankyou for answering my questions, very helpful. I feel that more people should consider vanlife...it also may help with rental crisis we are in at the moment. Anything you can share with us will be helpful for someone that would like to try. Also would you continue to travel if you didn't have Abby?
Thank you for patience in my answering your questions, I didn’t forget about you 😊. I think I will always have a doggy companion, when it is time for Abby to leave I will adopt another dog.🐶
Hi Brenna, I have only recently found your RUclips channel, and I absolutely love it! It's great as I'm in Australia too, so the items/places you recommend I can access easily. Another great aspect is I have an old Hiace too, but mine's a High-top, a 1999 model. Could you please tell me where you bought your magnetic fly mesh screens please and your collapsible kettle? Please keep up your great work and give Abbey a big cuddle from me....
Hi Brenna. Thanks for one of the best tips I've heard - using a nation-wide company to service the car. Wondering if you have fuel consumption figures for your petrol HiAce?
Hello, it's so lovely to have you back. I know I'm late, but would love to know how high your bed is, frame and total after matteress. I'm also 5,3 and looking at a van with the same height as yours. You look to have ample head room when you are on the bed, so am very interested.
Hi Michelle, the way I designed my bed was so that my feet sit comfortably on the floor and I have head room. Even though we are the same height, we may have different leg and torso lengths. My bed is 44.5 cm or 17 1/2 inches from the floor. Hope this helps.
Hi Brenna. Another question. I am giving up my rental at the end of November and hitting the road. I have so much stuff to get rid of. I just wondered, what is the hardest thing you gave up and miss even after being on the road so long? (Apart from your horse).
I have answered as many questions as I could and still keep the video a reasonable length. I will definitely be doing another Q&A in a few months. If you have any questions you would like me to answer please leave them in the comments below.😊

Thank you so much for the Q&A Brenna. So helpful for those of us starting out. Safe travels to you and Abbey 🙂
Safe travels to you too.😊
Thank you Brenna. Always enjoy your videos and already looking forward to the next! Stay well and stay safe.
Thanks 😊
Lovely to have you back on the road. You are an inspiration 😻💕
Thank you Lorraine🐶
Love the vids! I told my mother about your videos and now shes a fan haha. We're both (part time) van lifers.
Aww, that is so sweet and how awesome that you both do van life.👏😊
Always a joy to visit you. Thank you for sharing some much information. Look forward to your next post. Take care
Thank you! You too!

Welcome 🤗
Thanks Brenna again for doing these videos and I put my hand up as one that you’ve inspired not only vlogging but also Van life in Australia
Hi Ann, you have brought me tears of joy. This is exactly why I am sharing my experiences in RUclips. Safe travels 😊

You forgot laundry option 4 ... hand washing.😅
I agree with you on only needing to be able to sit upright but laundry option 4…… god invented washing machines for a reason 😂😂
@@BrennaLivingJoyfully I’m sure Eve didn’t have a washing machine..🤔🤣
Washing on the go means less clothes, less space required
Luckily I have enough clothes to last me 3 weeks😊
Hi Brenna, I always enjoyed your story, and grateful for all those handy tips you shared. Thank you and sending you and Abby a big hugs 🫂🤗

Another question - your skin care routine …..your skin is so good !!!
I’m very blessed with good genetics, my mom’s skin still looks amazing and she is 82.
Outback South Australia has no mobile phone reception with Telstra, some campsites have wifi
It depends on where you go.

Hi Brenna. Thanks for one of the best tips I've heard - using a nation-wide company to service the car. Wondering if you have fuel consumption figures for your petrol HiAce?
Yes I do! If I drive no faster that 90kmh an hour I get about 9km per litre. Once I go over 90kmh I lose 1 to 2 km per litre.
@@BrennaLivingJoyfully thanks. Not bad for a fully equipped home :)

Honestly, I don’t miss anything I gave up but I do still have a storage unit with things I didn’t want to part with.👍
So where do you get your furniture from
I used the furniture I had in my house, some of it is over 15 years old.
Hello Breena,. I'm just wondering how you cope and fill in the hours when it's days and days of constant rain.
I drive to where it’s not raining 😊

Hi Brenna, great Q and A. Thanks for the tip on Telstra. Do you watch movies at night with the amount of data you have on your phone or do you read?
Hi Bron, my night time activities vary a lot and include reading, RUclips, art and journaling.
