🌺Celebrating all mums this Mother’s Day🌺
Ann is a mum of two and grandmother of two. She is also my beloved auntie (my dad’s sister) who always treated myself and my brothers and sister like her own (even to the point of making sure that I tidied my messy bedroom whenever she visited us in Dublin!) When my mum was very sick after having my youngest brother, my other brother and I went to live with her for a couple of weeks in Armagh. To say that she was wonderful during such an upsetting time is an understatement. The positive, mothering effect that other women can have on your life without them ever realising it is amazing. Over thirty years later I still remember her feeding us in the kitchen of her bungalow. She has a wicked sense of humour and always makes me smile.❤️
