Hey im not that knowledgeable about pickups and all, but if i were to put emgs on a similar model, does the pickups in the middle have to be removed or do they stay? Im sorry i dont really know the terminology for it, its the really thin and long pickup.
Thank you man! It's an Ibanez GRG250DX, with some EMG's in it. the secret sauce to this tone is the EMG 81 pick-up, make sure you have one of those in your guitar if you're after the tone ;)

The Strife First > Thank you mate! and Second > it's a bit complicated, since I use a Digitech GNX3000 and it has frequency settings for the bass, mid, treble, so that plays a huge role in how my tone sounds. But I am using a Marshall JCM800 setting, with a 8x10 cabinet setting and an overdrive pedal which is very similar to the Maxon OD-820 pedal, then I run it through a Orange Rockerverb amp setting on Amplitube software just to give it a more 'realistic' edge. The secret sauce really is a Marshall amp mixed with a Maxon OD-820, add a guitar that has a EMG-81 and you're set to destroy!

I use the electric set and it sounds so crisp. I can tune down to drop A for Sarcostrophe and it sounds so bad ass too
