Great review Zoe’s. I’ve had the legato set for a few days and you nailed. I love this set for non-critical listening which is 70% of what I do. Thank you.
I'm surprised how many music lovers/reviewers have little to no idea what "legato" means in musical terms 🤯 "In music performance and notation, legato ([leˈɡaːto]; Italian for "tied together"; French lié; German gebunden) indicates that musical notes are played or sung smoothly and connected. That is, the player makes a transition from note to note with no intervening silence. Legato technique is required for slurred performance, but unlike slurring (as that term is interpreted for some instruments), legato does not forbid re-articulation."
I just lucked out so hard. I just found these at a amazon returns discount store for $15. $15!!!!! The case was broken. That's right, the zipper was broken on the case. Everything else was there, looked unused, like someone saw that the zipper broke and instantly returned it. I would have paid $15 for a cable like this. I 100% agree, this is good for "background" music. Honestly, I love my Ikko OH10 more than anything else, but these are making even a video like this sound just... pleasant! Maybe a tiny bit muffled, but not negatively. It takes off edge, without taking away enjoyment, if that makes sense.
Probs not. Those are old news and bro has his z12. Comparing iems isn’t his thing but I believe Jayaudio talks about those iems in a comparison video. Also either on linsoul or hifi the p1 max are 100 rn
It's a fun IEM, a big boy but probably the most spacious sounding IEM I've heard however that could be because the mid-range sounds set back. And that's likely to be a deal breaker for a lot of the IEM crowd. These sound more like a commercial product even though they sound pretty even in terms of tuning. They're a smoothed listen, they work really well for movies and game and most pop music (past and present). But there's better resolution, separation, and imagining for cheaper, theeeese are much more for the theatrics than the details. Fun earphone, headphone-like stage, great accessories. Not for folks that want neutrality, brightness, and/or resolution. And while the bass is fun, it's also a bit soft at times. Full for sure, but a little soft.
I'm planning on getting these because I'm a bass head. Will these be good fro genres like rap, phonk, jazz, rock? I'm not an audiophile either so I don't really know if these will be worth it besides the bass.
@@worstgamer1162 they're fine for those genres, just keep in mind that the bass is more woofy than thumpy. And the form factor is large, however everyone is different so what is or isn't comfortable is really hard to suggest.
@@kobasyt I've never had an issue driving a dynamic driver IEM, if they're out there I'm ignorant to them so these are no different. My go to units for IEMs are the Mojo 2 and iFi Go Blu, neither have any issues driving and have their own volume controls to make sure you don't go blowing your eardrums out.
@@dasninjastix note well taken my friend, thank you for the info. Im just worried cus there is a lot of rumor if this Legato needs a lot of power, but im confused, it's sensitivity and impedance value seems just normal to me, nothing like < 100 dB.
The case came with the 7h Diokos as well. I sent it back because fuck are they big? I bought the Tangzu Heydays, s12, Tin T4 Plus and the Diokos and the s12 stayed, the others went back because each has their little issue for me. 1 week later. Still happy with the sound of the s12 but they are so fucking uncomfortable!? And they were the most comfortable from the 4 sets i bought and i still can’t wear them longer then 30 minutes without comfort issues. The Airpods Pro 2 are still much more preferable for me and i thought of trying some more IEMs but i think im done with them for now.
AirPods Pro 2’s fit for me is dog shit. Although s12 fits better than the AirPods for me, it fits even better if I use a ex3xr like tip which I got from OG beyerdynamics. Of all the iem brands, KZ/CCA fits the best. Go figure.
interesting take on these. I found these to be very warm and very bassy. for details, it was very average. I think these are very poor for classical music. I don't think I'd personally consider them "chill". these are great for EDM or movies/shows, in my opinion. thanks for the review.
Yeah...no. This case size is fine. I'm seriously anti-jank when it comes to cables. Unless your rocking an airpod style ain't nobody putting even the small jewelry style cases in pocket. I prefer to go easy on my cables and have adapted to the carry. Going to work or out for the day most days means small daypack anyway.
I don't think it's necessarily honest to say you don't care if people get your collab or not. Yes, you get revenue from any affiliate link but there are other benefits to a successful collaboration. I mean that's the issue with these collaborations in general. The very people who are supposed to free themselves up from these conflicts of interests are now the ones most deeply conflicted.... I mean at this point basically every big RUclips headphone or IEM reviewer is either doing a colab or angling to get a collab. It would be more honest if you just stopped doing reviews and just started openly selling your own products. Because even if you are talking about products you don't have any affiliation with, there's going to be either subconscious bias or the perception of bias. If you give a middling review of a product in the same price point as one of your collabs, how can you even know if it's not a subconscious bias? Let alone us?
Even the fact that you mentioned your collab at the beginning of this video is a pretty illustrative case study if the problem here... Instead of this company getting a proper review, they are immediately faced with a binary choice... Get this IEM or get my IEM which I like even more.
@@michaelcorcoran8768 I still want people to just get what works best for them.. So they can come back for more recommendations in the future. Gotta think long game. A collab is temporary but Zeos is Forever!

Pretty Noises sound good

I read that and still don't know
John Coltrane, famous for plucking the tenor saxophone
I seriously lol'd
I like the big cases…mostly cause I always take other accessories with me on the go…
The Rinko touch keycaps look good on your desk
The Legato is a Meastro Mini on a budget. It has slightly less resolving treble but otherwise quite similar tuning.
How to they compare to the way more expensive 7hz timeless ae ?? Is it worth paying 3 times the price for the timeless ae?
Maybe these 7hz Legato could replace my Sony IER Z1R looking to get it if it rumbles as good or even stronger I will replace

These tips also help greatly with the s12’s sibilant sound. It’s much more high-mid forward now, vocals are stupid good.
how would you compare the Legato to the Tangzu Fudu? is it a good upgrade from the Fudu?
Hard to assess without sitting down with both right now. There are so many other good IEMs out there too.
Hi I also want to know how these compare to tangzu fudu as I want to buy one from the two options.
Do let me know how they're if you own any of them.

Why not your big brain tell you that that big case might actually be useful for storing iems from dust and shits
I mean.. Yeah like 6 pair of IEMs.
I used it for that and it sucked, because it doesn't separate them, so you get a rat nest of cables.
