I wasn't sure if I needed another IEM, I already have 30+. But I still bought this as I don't have a basshead IEM. After a few days, the Legato is something that I will be reaching out for often I think, I know that much.
I may come across as an absolute idiot for saying this but even though this is touted as a bass head iem its the podcasts where the legatos really shine. I haven't come across a better iem for podcasts. No theme nailed it when he used the adjective clear in the video title.
@@maxpayne69. Detail isn't stellar so the sound effects may not be that good but haven't missed a single dialogue. So. IMHO great for dramas not so much for Marvel kinda movies
Just placed an order 2 days ago, and my set is just a few days away. Also curious to see how it will sound if fitted with Radius DeepMount eartips- my go-to tips, at the moment. What i find interesting about the Legato is that it's inspired by those old school home stereo subwoofer systems, and the 80's hiphop essential: the ghetto blaster. With most iems fitting themselves into that same Harman-ish tuning "box", it's good to see 7Hz going against the grain, and doing it decently well. ...certainly not your typical iem. And it's good that it isn't.
My sonic preference fits the Legato perfectly and when I want that slam, this really provides it (listen to "Laser Shooting Dinosaur" by Angus McSix - a great novelty song). A great fun IEM for fun music. For more "Harmon-esque" I like the Blon Z300 very much as well.
Very nice review, as always! I appreciate your amp/dac review, have you ever tried Fiio R7? It seems that it comes with rich functionalities at a medium price tag. Is it any good?

Listening to the review on a 7hz Legato. A review has never sounded better

Beautiful review!
Hope a more expensive version of around 200-300 price range with more refined sound.
Thanks for the review
