- Someone asked for a quick video on how to remove the spoiler, so here you go! Its quite simple, just remove the rear hatch panel, find the few bolts that need to be removed, undo the rear wiper, and then lift it off!

I am not a professional mechanic and the methods described in my videos are solely based on my research and intuition. I make mistakes and when I do, I try to point them out so others don't make the same mistakes. These videos are meant only as a description of what I was trying to do and how I went about doing it. Before attempting any service on your car, conduct your own research, and use common sense. Авто/Мото
I bought a 1984 Z31 a few months ago and you channel has been a life saver, love man thank you!
You forgot the. Wiper screw to remove the spoiler and the process
I really needed this. Thanks a bunch yo
Nice video! I drift a z31
Thanks i needed that
How are you removing the huge bolt the windshield wiper is attached to?
It is a nut on the outside of the car. Right where you see the wiper, just unscrew there
Are those bolts screw into the spoiler or what? I'm wondering because I have two 300zx's now. One of them came with a spoiler and another one didn't. The one that didn't has the space where the spoiler sits very smooth (no holes, nothing). If you can snap a picture without the spoiler for me that'd be great. Cheers man.
The spoiler has studs in it. The nuts you can see in the video go on those studs. I imagine cars that didn't come with a spoiler either have a filler in the spaces or the rear hatch just doesn't have the holes drilled out
any info on where to find an spoiler thats original?
Parts car is the only place. Facebook groups are a good place to find part outs. Or you can check 300zxpartsforyou.com
How do you take off the one on 1:15
What if it has the glue
Using a tool similar to a windshield remover is probably your best bet. Something to cut the glue that doesn't harm the paint. That would be my recommendation
Could anyone let me know how to remove the whole hatch?
It's a big pain. The one we have at our shop, the wiring harness goes into the interior in the cabin so you have to drop your headline and fish it all out. Would not recommend if inexperienced.
@@Spear911 got mine for 500 bucks, the wiring was already disconnected from the hatch so it wasnt that bad only a few bolts i didnt see
@@stewmanz oh nice 👍
I hope your not taking it offff because you don't want it because oh no buddy
