I feel like people dont talk about the charged basic attack damage
Thing brings zacian from being above-average to phenomenal
Adding 2-5%maxhp is enough to make it phenomenal? I feel like unless you're playing metal claw spending the extra energy isn't worth it over constantly having an extra move ready
@@abra_escaped I'd argue that the extra 3-5% scaled HP damage is pretty substantial, especially when chained with SS, which already boosts damage and ignores defense
This makes it pretty good at shredding objectives, tanky pokemon, and overall does some pretty good damage
Also in terms of energy, I'd also argue that you can just not fully charge it if you don't want to spend the energy.
I agree. One of my fave things to do with zacian is full charging ur passive instead of just clicking it because the extra basic attack damage really helps in team fights

As a Zacian enjoyer who started playing it AFTER nerfs and with a 70% winrate in 500 games, I can safely say that the BEST way to use this Pokémon is by abusing the 4th autoattack by charging up the first three before engaging the fight so that you get a free dash that aggros the enemies and you can do an almost unmissable unreactable double sacred and still have agility to disengage.
Unite move is 99% of the times just used as a combo finisher with the weakest version (still hits like a truck) when the enemies survive the standard 4th auto + double sacred combo.
Can also be used as "full heal" to escape but remember to deactivate it as soon as you get out of danger because you're much slower while preparing it.
If you can allow yourself to fully charge the ability because you're full of aeos, use the fully charged ability instead of going on autopilot with the basic "X tap" because the stronger autos can be much more menacing than SS.
Pro tip: when rushing an objective don't "X, R, R" but instead charge the ability to its fullest and rip the objective with empowered autos (much faster this way) and which last for a much longer time and when the objective reaches around 20% you do the double sacred that you've been saving for the almost always guaranteed kill on the Regi/Rayquaza.
Pro pro tip: invade as much as you can, you have so many dashes and escape options
Sometimes I miss the meta where Cinderace Jungle was the biggest threat 😂😂, but then remember that Buddy Barrier and Score shield were the most broken items during that time... Imagine unnerfed buddy barrier and score shield in this meta 💀

Played two Zacian games yesterday just because I felt like it, first one was a pretty great 10ko 140k damage thanks to Comfey, second one was much worse, probably because the enemy had Mewtwo and I don't think we did. I feel like I'm actually better on Zacian than on Mewtwo somehow (maybe because I usually don't score much)
I then played Comfey next match and helped a Leafeon get a penta
I'm definitely better at the cat than the dog.
a team of legendaries and mythicals would be quite an overkill... Mewtwo, Urshifu, Zacian, Hoopa and Mew/Zeraora. lol
in order to use Zacian's unite, you have to wait until the behemoth blade shines, there's a visual cue, the problem is that in battle, time perception is different than in practice area so you can't rely on knowing how long to wait until your unite can go off, and since there's plenty of mess on screen the visual cue is drowned out, so you can't rely on it either..
basically Zacian's unite is something to prepare, it's good used against a group of cced opponents or to siege a goal and for objective secures of course..
It can also come in clutch if you run out of points and need just a little more of immediate DPS to get a kill using the weakest version (that still deals decent burst), also zacian’s ult is the biggest secure in the whole game when fully charged, so yeah, pretty much a strong ult but you don’t use it like your conventional click and kill tool

I agree with your early thoughts on scoring, just gimps your fighting abilities throughout the game, save the coins, no point in the unite move either

Everyone dodging the aoe so often i just go metal claw. Better chase snd auto attacks still very strong. Can out damage m2 if you get first strike

We've gone a long way from the days of Broken Zacian. Nowadays, we prefer fighting against Zacian instead of Mewtwo. I hope in the future, there will not be a time when we will prefer to fight Mewtwo instead of something else that's a whole lot more broken.
Sadly that is what is gonna happen. The track record of the greedy devs have been horrible even before Sylveon was first added.

Matter what is your playstile if you are aggresive urshifu and buzzwole, more of a tanky brawler scizor (schyter im not counting him in this meta one pull and is ded) and goodra is literally a brawler not a defender, and well lapras is your typical defender that is literally a tank.
urshifu can be a choice if u wanna go full offensive
I like being in centre of the fight usually 🤣 love tanks but im looking for smthg a bit more on the offensive side
It's up to you to choose, but here's some quick overviews of each one to maybe help you decide:
Buzzwole has some crazy oneshot combos... if you can approach safely
Scizor is very tanky and does good damage, pretty mobile, very easy to play, and is two mons for the price of one!
Scyther might as well be a speedster, jumps around very erratically with so many dashes and bounces and lunges and stuff and does good burst damage of course. A little bit underpowered but I think he's pretty fun
Urshifu is a great oneshot "melee sniper" with single strike and a super mobile self healing basic attack spamming sort of thing with rapid strike
Lapras is a very typical defender, super tanky and nice hindrances (ice beam isn't that great though)
Goodra struggles in the early game but is an insane brawler once it evolves, heals so much with dragon pulse, gets lots of defense with muddy water, can pull with power whip, has plenty of slows between its ability and acid spray, and the unite move has a silly little song
day 1 Zacian destroys day 1 Mewtwo by far

3:06 the last time I saw you play Zacian I wondered why you use your boosted Sacred Sword against wilds so much. I see now you just _like_ to do to it lol. I always hoard my aeos when I play Zacian. I even end games frequently with zero points scored lol.

I love the videos but from your last video with fake cris, a lot of people were harassing him and just being toxic to the guy. You make the videos you want to make but remember that this community is extremely toxic and we shouldnt encourage players to be toxic and since you have a following i feel that people dont understand the joke and take it to heart. I just wanted to share that since i really respect you as a player and the amount of hate that dude got on discord servers was hard to watch.

Comfey is more broken and a bigger problem than mewtwo and zacian together just by desing alone, comfey should be nerfed to the ground or straight up reworked.
It's unpopular because it's weird. Like wiggly tuff and clefable exist but yes. Nerf comfey

I am way more afraid of Mewtwo than Zacian. I can easily destroy Zacians but its way harder to deal with Mewtwo. Zacian is still strong but he will be in the radar if Mewtwo gets nerfed even harder but right now, she is fine as it is.
Wonder how many comments i'll find praising Cris about being to good for beating a Mewtwo when a simple Zoroark was kiting him at his hearth content x3
