Ace has weak legs after all those years on the couch while Gene has been on his legs every night with a heavy costume and boots on. Gene is just in better shape than Ace is because of that.
Heh, it's funny how the faces he makes are familiar, but also so different without the demon mask. And before someone says that he already was unmasked for over 10 years in Kiss - I know, but I never thought of this while watching his 80s shows.

A aparencia nao ajuda muito MAS ele está muito bem fisicamente e com o vozeirao de sempre, e como sempre seguro na condução do baixo - apesar de nao serem linhas complexas, cantar e tocar contrabaixo junto, acreditem, nao é facil pra qualquer um

It was physically hard in KISS because of the heavy costumes, boots and stuff. And 2 hours for the makeup...With his solo band it's easier to perform. @@CoolMikey81

People tend to forget what a great bass player Gene Simmons is. His lines are always on point and in the groove.
Gene's the only original member that hasn't lost a beat. His vocals and playing are still spot on. 👍
I think he sounds more reinvigorated in this setting. His band during the "Vault" tour sounded killer also!
