You sir are a treasure-trove of knowledge. Keep it up. Where's the shop located?

What a fabulous collection of ties, I often go around the secondhand shops in Birmingham looking for old ties to wear. I’ve picked up a couple of ancient madder ties which get to most wear.

Simply marvelous. I have hundreds from the New York and Los Angeles thrift shops. A personal fav is by California designer Don Loper (remember the I LOVE LUCY episode with the tweed suit?). His ties are out of this world. I once found a tie from the Dandy Shop (owned by The Beatles), which I picked up for pennies and sold for a relative fortune in my eBay store. Good day indeed. Thanks for sharing that superb collection. When you're ready to sell that bin, let me know. Those are beauties and I wear that type of tie around Los Angeles often. People love it.

I will be the first to admit that I am not brave enough to wear those wide 70s ties.
