A.K.A. AN EXERCISE IN TEMPO MATCHING
Both versions of the Jesus Christ Superstar song are in the key of Eb major, transposed a semitone from the original key, allowing the voices to be intact. Voices heard in the video are Helen Reddy and Agnetha Fältskog, left and right channel, respectively. The instrumentals are synced to show the contrast between the vocalists' vocal delivery. To achieve this effect, headphones are needed.
Why didn't you sync Agnetha's version with Frida's?
-Frida sings in A major an octave lower. Also if you put it a semitone up like Bb major, the harmony would be wacky, especially the backing track.
