Can Neuropathy start in the groin area? 7 months ago, I got a burning sensation, which I thought was caused by 5G and Chem Trails. They are prevalent in my area of Prescott, AZ. I can relate to all the symptoms in your videos. Do you think your products would help me? I am now walking with a cane.
Excellent video. On this channel I notice a lot of attention is placed around treating neuropathy. Is the same information relevant regarding nerve healing in sciatica from herniated disc(s)? Or is it the same thing?
I'm truly glad you like it. This is an excellent question. When treating sciatica or herniated discs (or both) it's a bit different. With sciatica, the cause can be from a spinal subluxation in the lumbar spine (L4-L5) or it can be from a condition called Piriformis syndrome (or both). Piriformis syndrome is when the piriformis muscle compresses the sciatic nerve. For this issue, your best and fastest treatment is chiropractic care. Next for a herniated disc, I like treating this best with a form of treatment called non-surgical Spinal Decompression. This is a medical device that the doctor or doctors assistant will strap you into and it decompresses the pressure on the discs at a specific level which alleviates the compression and also causes a vacuum-like effect that will draw the bulged (herniated) section of the disc back into the canal where it won't get compressed. Chiropractors are very adept at treating these conditions without resorting to drugs or surgery. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. Blessings.
Is taking R Alpha Lipoic Acid ok if I have amalgam fillings in my teeth, I have read several health reports advising against it ? Removing all my fillings would be a major undertaking with cost and the loss of quite a few teeth so is not a option. I was very excited about trying this vitamin to help with my neuropathy but now concerned it may make things worse. Many thanks for your ongoing advice and support. Kind regards Warren
Happy Monday-Warren. This is a common question we get asked often and it's an excellent one. If you are taking less than 1200mg of R-ALA it will not cause mercury chelation. Amounts over this will. So, at 600 mg, daily you're safe. Now let's discuss those amalgams. Mercury will continue to leach into your system simply by chewing (whether you're eating or chewing gum), drinking hot beverages, and eating or drinking acidic foods or beverages (including coffee, seltzer water, etc). So every day those amalgams are in your mouth, you are adding more mercury into your system, which is unsafe for your brain or peripheral nervous system. I understand that having them all removed at once may not be feasible. I would start with at least one at a time and make sure it is only done by a biological dentist certified S.M.A.R.T. Here's a link for more information on that: iaomt.org/for-patients/ Let me know if I can help you with any other questions. Blessings.
This is beautiful. Thank you. What’s really the problem with red meat? Or what’s not the problem. What about eggs? dairy? gluten? soy products? Are there any foods proven in research to help with nerve repair? Does NAC help with nerve repair?
Hi there, eight of hearts. I'm glad you enjoyed the affirmations. I always love your questions and encourage you to keep them coming. I just have one small request. I personally answer every question because I believe everyone should have my personal attention and not be pushed off to my medical assistant. However, I only have time to answer these questions between seeing patients and I always have a heft load of patients. If you could break up your questions for me and space them out, it would be helpful. Send 2 at a time and later in the day or the next day you can send more, it would make it easier for me to give you complete and thorough answers. I really do love your questions and do not want to discourage you from sending them. I know they help many. OK, let's talk about red meat. Factory-farmed cattle are filled with steroids, antibiotics, and growth hormones; and they're fed poor quality grain, most of the time. When you eat this meat you consume these hormones and medications. That creates a problem for the consumer's health. Now, if a person is eating organic, grass-fed/grass-finished beef then that's a completely different ball game and is a much healthier alternative. When consuming eggs you should only consume pasture-raised eggs and preferably organic. This means that the hens have the ability to roam pastures (weather permitting) and are not kept confined or overcrowded in barns, which can define the term Cage-free. Refer to this link to learn more: bit.ly/3H4t6c3 Gluten is highly inflammatory and most people have sensitivities and don't realize it, so this should be avoided as much as possible. Dairy from cow's milk is proinflammatory because we lack the necessary enzyme to break down casein. Unfortunately, that's all I have time for right now. Shoot me the rest of the questions that I couldn't get to a bit later and I'll get them answered for you. Have a great day!
@@NerveDoctors i understand, i can’t imagine your work load. Thank you again for doing this. The reason why i asked the problem with red meat was following up to the question i asked on your previous video about l-carnitine after learning from you it’s not an issue in respect to TMAO i wondered what really about red meat that’s an issue since most research show an increase in mortality risk with every 100 g increase in red meat consumption. Which then led me to asking are there any foods proven by science that work magic on nerve repair?
@@eightofhearts Hi there eight of hearts. I am always happy to answer your questions and you truly do always ask excellent questions. Please, don't stop asking. Your questions help more people than you could possibly realize. I've been watching for you to send the other questions but haven't seen them. I definitely want to get those answered for you. There are many different foods that will supply you with the critical nutrients for nerve function and you can google, for instance, which foods are highest in ALA, B12, etc. The problem is that once the nerves are damaged, you need a very large dose of the vital nutrients to facilitate nerve repair, and you will not be able to eat enough of the foods containing these ingredients to reach a therapeutic dose. So, should you even bother to consume these foods? Absolutely. Although it's not enough to repair the nerves by itself, it will help keep your nerves healthy and prevent the condition from returning. With regards to NAC-this is a phenomenal supplement that helps with glutathione production, which helps clear toxins from the body. Along with that NAC has a large list of health benefits including supporting immune function and lung health. I use this supplement frequently for my patients battling COVID or who have sustained lung damage due to COVID. However, by itself NAC won't get the job directly done...repairing the nerves. Ok-I think that's all of your questions and please, by all means keep asking these GREAT, THOUGHT PROVOKING questions. Blessings.
Can peripheral neuropathy be contained only to heels? My heels and area around them can't stand cold, can't stand having socks on, sometimes light touch is uncomfortable and sometimes there is a feeling of burning. My toes and rest of the foot on both legs are fine.
Yes. Often, in the beginning peripheral neuropathy will be contained to just one area. It could be the toes or in your case the heels of your feet. However, with time as the damage progresses, so will the symptoms to a more wide spread region.
@@NerveDoctors Is it possible to stop or even reverse this process by taking R-ALA and B12? I cannot treat the cause of this because I'm not sure what it is. I do not have any underlying conditions and recently I've also done blood and urine tests to confirm it. EMNG report stated this: "Chronic radicular lesions by myotomes L5 dex medium severe degree, L5 sin mild degree, S1 dex medium severe degree, S1 sin mild to medium severe degree. Denervation potentials are not registered. Prolonged latency time for motor response n.tibialis bill." Doctors thought the source of the problem was from the lower spine but MRI showed no problems there. Foot problems such as plantar fasciitis or stress fractures are ruled out. For the reference: 27 male, not overweight, no smoking, alcohol or other recreational drugs. Was fairly active but now I can't even walk comfortably and pain free around the house, let alone putting shoes on and going somewhere further.
@@NerveDoctors my mom has fluoroquinolone medication induced tendonopathy from antibiotics she took 6 months ago , she has many debilitating issues since being floxed but the worst is nocturnal Pruritus that starts between 11 and midnight and continues through the night so she hasn't had a decent sleep in months (kind of hard to heal when not sleeping)...is there anything you can suggest she can take / do for the pruritus?

Hi again, Harold. Yes, small fiber neuropathy and peripheral neuropathy are the same. Within peripheral neuropathy, you can have damage to the small fibers (sensory), large fibers (motor), or autonomic nerves (organ control). I'm including a couple of links for you that will teach you a bit more about this. It depends what you mean by wrong? If you wish these affirmations were true for you then I suggest thinking/repeating That "I am learning too ......." then think or repeat the affirmation. It can be a little to big of a jump from thinking negativity to super positively. So if you try thinking, "I am learning too" it should help. For anyone struggling with chronic pain I strongly recommend looking into TMS and Brain reprocessing or Pain Reprocessing therapy which you can do on your own. Just knowing you can overcome your pain should bring much relief. Dr. Sarno Dr. Schubiner
