I scored it 9-3 for Mayweather which translates to 117-111. The mistakes Pacquiao made were he wasn't being busy enough, he wasn't using his footwork to circle Floyd, and he was just walking in a straight line most of the fight. You can't walk in a straight line against Mayweather unless you got 15-20 pounds on him. Pacquiao didn't do what he was supposed to do and Mayweather just made easy work of him.
I've been watching boxing for a long time with my dad. It was an interesting fight to see for me because both are great fighter. I am a Floyd fan because only a fool will stand and get hit when they can move. PacMan did the best he could against a fighter like Floyd please believe those jabs Floyd was throwing is what kept Pac from running up on him he didnt want to get knocked out either. Therefore, Floyd won. Pac job was to get Floyd to fight his fight but he simply fell to do so Floyd won! Floyd fought a smart fight at the age of 38.

But he can never you mention as one of the greatest in his division because the greatest champions always tried to take out their opponents. To be great you got to take the chance . Floyd loves money more than professional boxing. Well I can say is one of the greatest defensive fighters but never the greatest of all time in the division.
I supported Pacman for this fight but Floyd won deservedly. He was all class and gracious in victory so much respect to him for that.

I'm a Filipino, but I was raised in Canada so growing up, Pacquiao being some nationalistic icon wasn't really a big deal to me. However I fell in love with sports like boxing, mma and muay thai and learned a lot. I fell in love with Pac because he was a great boxer not because he is Flip. Point is, the better fighter won CLEARLY. Pac is still an awesome fighter even though he lost, but blindly ignoring the facts of the fight in May 2nd doesn't do him or his fans respect. And this isn't a racial case of black vs asian genes or some bullshit like that. These two INDIVIDUALS displayed their outstandingness. However the brighter fighter stood out more. Pac lost, mayweather won, both fighters made boxing still relevant. Mayweather made more millions than a UFC weight division combined and Pac put a small, irrelevant island on the map and represented the heart of millions of filipinos. Its safe to say both these guys are great.

Manny is my fave boxer ever, I thought he could do it, but Mayweather was so good, sublime, that he actually made Manny (EIGHT division champion and fighter of the decade) look ordinary. I've never seen anyone pacify Manny like that before, no one. Floyd is a one off boxing genius. I'm very disappointed in both Freddy and Manny for their post fight reaction. Funny how every opponent finds out a SPORT of boxing lesson when facing Mayweather.
In the amateur game you are taught the most effective ways to win fights is to produce scoring shots with technique and defend well to show the judges your ring craft and execution to out score the opponent. Floyd has brought that educated style into the pro game and mastered it in such a way that it looks like art. Now people can bitch all they want saying its not exciting and he doesnt brawl but as a smart fighter you bring your best attributes to the ring and execute. 48-0!
Manny didnt have it on this occasion and thats because he never brought his attacking style due to being afraid of getting caught out so it left him stuck tactically on what to do.

I do not now him much and I can not judge a person immediately after watching him fight (for 12 rounds) for the first time. I did watch some clips with his fight with Zab Judah. Floyd was excellent and did the same techniques/strategy with Manny (it worked). I am not taking any sides on the "Fight of the Century" controversy.

Manny was embarrassed, he has a country behind him and he couldn’t just take the L on the chin. He would have been okay with a closer loss but he got out classed. He couldn’t land 100 punches in 12 rounds of boxing. 81 total punches landed. No version of Manny Pacquiao was ever going beat Floyd. Fighters know this.

Manny threw more punches than Mayweather, he just couldn’t land on Floyd...same problem every other fighter has had with Floyd. Manny also didn’t throw as many punches because he was getting taxed with that straight right hand. Casual fans thought Pacquiao had a chance because how he looked against other fighters. In reality, Mayweather is not a good matchup for Manny.
