Paul Wesley Teases Character’s ‘Dark Side’ in ‘Tell Me a Story’ Season 2

- Paul Wesley and Danielle Campbell are giving “Sleeping Beauty” a modern-day twist in the new season of “Tell Me a Story.”
“Extra” caught up with Paul, best known for “The Vampire Diaries,” and Danielle, who starred on “The Originals,” to find out who they are playing this season.
Wesley describes his character Tucker as someone who has the “seemingly perfect life,” but who “struggles with some very dark things," while Danielle’s character Olivia is a small-town girl looking for a fresh start in the big city.
The new season of “Tell Me a Story” will be available on CBS All Access.

I actually decided to watch this series because I heard that Paul was going to play a bad guy. As we know from Vampire diaries, he is REALLY good at being bad. Plus, I am a fan of Danielle. Gotta say, the show did not dissapoint.

So excited that there's going to be a second season but even more excited that they're making the show an anthology series with each season new and separate! No dragged out storylines just a great cast telling great stories (no pun intended). Kevin is a genius and the cast is so good. Danielle and Paul are my favs and this is so exciting!!!

@@jonanpeppers6448 - it was great show - i watched to 5 season then i stopped - it was just DELENA, DELENA, DELENA . I watched all seasons of Originals, they were great.
*After 5th season The Vampire Diaries, itself picked up again. I also hate "dullena" but they never were the focus, neither in 5th neither in 6th. And TO really fell down after season 2. Everything there was about that "cheesy family dramas" and the last 2 seasons were mediocre to bad.*
@@jonanpeppers6448 I disagree to an extent? I just didn't like Elena anymore after she turned. It turned me off the whole show, it became all Delena and I didn't love the main character(Elena) anymore. I loved the ensemble enough to keep watching and you're right it was still good post season 5. But by then I was kind of done I feel like the show already peaked, it just never felt as good to me after the Originals left.
Originals I loved! The only season I thought fell apart was the 5th when they were clearly just trying to set up Legacies. I think it was just a better basis, the driving forces being family and power within the original family with the city of new orleans being the best backdrop. It never felt "cheesy" to me, it felt more intense and mature than tvd, none of the stupid teen drama it was all next level with more history. More into the supernatural world. And that's saying something considering how much I LOVE tvd.

“Tell me a story”, looks like the best new show since “Grimm”. I’ve only seen the trailer for season two just now ( October 2019), and prior to this I had never heard of this show. I’m hoping that season one is now available on DVD.

Yeah i thought the same thing as Paul that it was similar to once upon a time like the concept, but it was a bit more dark and u dont get to see the actual fairytale part of it. Its set more modern like.
