❤❤❤ Hilarious characterizations. I remember this when it originally aired and I'm still smitten with it. Tracey is a sketch comedy goddess, and she surrounds herself with supremely talented makeup artists/writers/actors etc.
This is an amazing Tracy Ullman skit ...phenomenal acting with all the characters.. Omg! You know these type of people in some way.. That actress who played the girlfriend ..I remember her as a catalog model for I think JC Penneys, Mcall's ,Simplicity and maybe even Butterick sewing patterns..My Mom did alot of sewing when I was younger ...
Had me laughing throughout, including the toilet scene. One thing about my mother, when anyone came to her kitchen, she would put food in front of them to eat, even when they politely said no. Is this not the Italian way?
Not really, its an international social construct. Sometimes people who say no want to say yes. It's a way of keeping things polite and not imposing. Same with inviting someone over 'anytime' or 'someday' when in reality you don't really want to ever have them in your house.
