I live in AL, so I could start already, hate it. Love my wife's family and my sons doctors, though, and this is the best job I've ever had. So it kinda sucks, I could never justify unless I won the lottery to move. The only thing I don't like about it is the weather. People would love to have 80s this early, I just hate it. I prefer the cold, jackets, snow, snuggling, and wearing a beanie. You sweat horribly just being out for 5-10min. Sometimes, the humidity is so bad that it's LITERALLY as soon as you walk outside. My glasses will fog and moisturize, and my body will, too.

Zero Snow in CT so far this year. One weekend it was colder than ever before - 25 with windchill, the following weekend it was 60. Usually...by February we are sick of winter and it just snows ALL of February. Not 1 shovel has been picked up here this year.

i live in Erie ,Pennsylvania. and it drives me crazy how this winter they always report the North East United States is going to get blasted. Anytime it snowed this winter it never made it to 10 inches outside!. been the warmest winter ever !! alot of 40 degree days and 50 degree days. crap like a week ago it was almost 70 out ! I guess these reporters are young and didnt grow up in the 70,s and 80,s when we got real snow
It is very rare for Minnesota to get much attention related to the weather. Much more common is for there to be reports on east coast people getting attention for less severe weather than what happened in the Twin Cities (except for Buffalo, they deserve the attention 😬)

Our “massive winter storm” was a major bust. They predicted we would get a foot and a half of snow, we maybe got a third of that. It did snow really hard for about four hours but then quickly fell off. Kinda disappointing, actually.

This is called El Nino was 1st noticed in the 1600s in the Pacific ocean but can apply to both. This had also be know in simple English terms as the Gulf Stream. Pockets of hot air collect in the Mexican Gulf and get blasted up the coast. Nothing new.
