Thats my home Pastor from Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem. He is a phenomenal and inspirational speaker. So proud of him and the Obamas!
I miss Rev. Butts so much but these videos are making it bearable. Dr. Butts, your legacy will continue!
OH how I love my pastor so much! I never wanted this to end. A brilliant beautiful powerful and so important soul and voice needed in the world.
Inspiration talks on the pride and positive contributions of African American to the development of modern America. Our children should be constantly be reminded of these feats.
This eloquent and moving paean should inspire all of us to subscribe to the upgraded, revised American dream!
Beautiful speech from his heart I could tell, he speaks with wise loving words. Thank you my dear friend, for sharing this with me.
Amen!!! REST IN PEACE AND POWER!! YOU ARE MISSED!!!
This is an excellent oratory in the traditional classic sense, practiced by the greats like: Frederick Douglass, Booker Washington, Martin King and Adam Clayton Powell. The African American community needs to bring back the Oratory Contests of yesterday!!!!!
I remember too well the tears and the dreams, amen!
Blessed by the beloved.
Heard this on XM channel 128 the other day. I was blown away u hear me!?
Great.
Wow. What a speaker!
I miss this man
it shows that good old time speakers still have it..we used to have speeches with poetry, etc..now people just struggle along..or say 'oops.'
I have plenty of confidence that it will. And how do you support your statement? Is it just your thought or do you have some sort of justification? I'm just saying. I also enjoyed listening to my frat brother, Dr. Calvin Butts, deliver a message that only he can do!
I worked on the foundation of this project. They used tons of toxic chemicals for use in the slurry wall, effected the health of me, and other guys who worked there.
You guys at should really look into Ret. Colonel Roosevelt Lewis Jr. as being apart of the African-American History Museum. I think his story & information would surprise you. Also...Kenneth Morris (Universal Aero Space Elite in Houston, TX)
My college president SUNY Old Westbury!
Count me among the INSPIRED ! ! !
The majesty of Blackness in full color!
