U3 is the oldest of the lines . When I came to Hamburg I ride it when I will have a Hamburg sightseeing. This line have aslso the Isemarkt section with wonderful Gruenderzeit Buildings lining it and a superb week market below it , one kilometer stretch , longest in Europe.
The sucessor DT6 will be Even more unconventional with the Same length as the DT5 but 4 Cars in one unit. The Cars/Segments will be extremly Short :-O My favourite is still the DT4 which is so long and has a great sound.

Awesome Video you got 👍
The traction motors kind of sound like the GE 1257E1 on the R46 in NYC
Hope you explore Manchester Metrolink in the future it’s got some cool light rail systems
We’d love to! Right now we don’t really have enough resources for something like that, but maybe in the future.
Wow, those are very unconventional vehicles. From what I can tell an 8-car DT4 is about the same length as a 9-car DT5.
