      Dear it's really long time I not update about inr but I can tell you about Thailand for 1 person near 13000 minimum immigration officer can ask as a show money

      To be honest compare exchange rates and then go to exchange centres, yes its better to take baht from here

    I have 1 question: i am traveling with my family for first time outside India. Can I exchange BHT to INR in Phuket at TT ?? As I will be carrying 20k BHT as per rule and my 90% booking is already done for family.

      @@shreyasudesh no I don't think, I have been Thailand 7 times and they never checked if I had 10k baht 😂 it all depends on the immigration officer and personal and ur luck at that moment but always better to be on the safer side

    Hey I want to exchange baht to Indian currency, since rupees is acceptable in my country (Bhutan) we can use indian currency in my country, there is no currency exchange of bhutanese currency here in bkk, I will be visiting my country next Sunday, so I needed rupees badly!       This is what I could find
      Travellers cheques and foreign currency can be easily exchanged at branches of the major banks in Phuket Town and Patong, or at the numerous kiosks operated by the banks throughout Patong, Karon, Kata and Phuket City. Money can also be exchanged at hotels, although bank rates are usually a lot better.

      I don't think it's an issue u can get it but just check with immigration once for the latest rules and drones are not cheap in Thailand, you can better buy in Dubai

      I don't think 2 lakh should be an issue but taking a forex card should be a better option than carrying a card for such huge amount and also carry proof of ur eschanged money as in slips and receipts etc

      1 - yes but ur dc needs to be enabled with international transaction (my recommendation is cash)
      2 - I would suggest u to take extra thai baht only cos exchange rates are pretty high, u always can cme back and convert to INR

    Exchanging currency at the airport is inevitable unless u carry baht from India. You need 2,000 baht for visa. Unless, the immigration accepts inr. Kindly suggest
