- In this episode I'll be restoring a solid oak set of drawers that I picked for free from FB Marketplace. I think that originally it had a mirror or dresser on it as there are five locating holes on the top surface.

Lovely ! You did an excellent job. I enjoyed watching you bring this piece to life.
Thank you very much 😁
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! Well Done!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful coloring. ❤
Thanks so much 😊
People who say you ruined this have clearly no understanding of furniture. This is a solid oak piece and not an antique yet, and all you did was clean off the old tired and damaged dark wood stain to give it a refreshed and natural finish that also nurtured the wood. Well done 👍🏼 it must be so tiring to read negative comments when all you want to do is show people how it’s done.
It's a problem all over the internet I'm afraid. The troll is blocked, so although he can see his own comments, the rest of the world don't have to know (or care)!!
Great video! Thank you for sharing!!!
Good work! Serviceable once more!
Contentment and repose are underrated qualities both in furniture refinishing and video making. Thank you for such a fulfilling time spent in your workshop with you. Beautifully done.
@@nancyanneberg403 Thank you for your kind words - it means a lot to know that people are enjoying the videos.
This is lovely !! I'm so glad you did the natural wood. I love oak, even though some say it has gone out of style. God bless you!!
Thank you! Dark varnish is definitely out of fashion and I see no reason to keep it for tradition's sake (except for genuinely valuable antiques)!
Saying any kind of wood has gone out of style seems strange to me - also dark stain, light stain or in between, it’s all just a matter of taste
I know plenty of people who are getting darker stains on their wood right now, or lighter, even bleached 🤷🏻♀️
Fashion is fleeting, wood is forever 😄 Anyway that dresser looks gorgeous, great job! 👍🏻
A beautiful job and a great video! Oak is a very amazing wood!
Thank you very much!
His works are worthy of a master craftsman. Congratulations, I love following your mastery! A hug straight from Brazi
Many thanks my friend!
A lovely finish for a rather messy piece.
Thank you
Beautifully done!
Glad you like it!
Lovely job and those Solid Oak drawers were a great find. I really liked the waxed finish on the natural wood, great choice buddy 😀👍
Thanks, the only problem I have is that after 5 videos, three of the pieces now reside in my house, I need to stop my wife from nabbing them 🙂
Ready for its new life!
I was going to sell it but my wife has other ideas!!
Beautiful😊
Thank you! 😊

After applying the remover gel I place plaster wrap over the gel and let it sit for 30 min to hour.
Thanks, I'll bear that in mind for next time
A Handsome Piece!
Thank you!
Very nice job.
Thank you! Cheers!
Хорошая работа! Но отверстия и дефекты я бы заделывал не не шпаклёвкой, а деревянными заглушками (вставками).
Спасибо за комментарий, вы правы, в следующий раз попробую использовать деревянные пробки.
👏👏👏😍
Thank you! 😊
Buen trabajo

Is that a dollhouse you have in your shop? If so do you make them and is it for sale?
@patriciagraves752 Yes, it's a dolls house from the 1930s, Art Deco style inside. I got it from a local auction and am in process of renovating it. It's home made and does not open at the front like a traditional dolls house. Maybe I'll do a video on it. I don't make them but I may sell it once it's finished! Keep an eye out for some updates!!
Very nice
Thanks, you are most kind
