Things are heating up in the Pokemon world right now. There's Pokemon Market fomo big time, especially happening with Scarlet & Violet 151. New leaks have come out, both from Nintendo Gamefreak, as well as all of the cards now available to be seen from newly released set, Supercharged Breaker. And, there's seriously a new wave of pokemon excitement brewing. It's happening all over!

pokeoffice, it sounds like that stores and sellers are saying stellar crown is surprisingly popular and they are selling a lot of it. i dont think many have forgotten it
Good I hope that is true. Maybe it’s just me that’s forgotten it, which obviously I haven’t actually forgotten about it
There is a 2nd boom coming. I mean, maybe it is literally happening right now. Its not just a new set or popularity of an old set. There are NEW people getting into the hobby or old people coming back. I'd guess youtubers see it in their numbers generally too.
Crazy how it seems like Pokémon keeps getting better
I don't think they are/will reprint 151, mostly seems like various products are getting a restock though to make room for remaining line up to end the year

Call me crazy but i think 151 will be the next second coming pun intended of base set and were gonna see in 10 15 years the prices of base set in psa 10s after all it's purpose was to create nostalgia with this time actual amazing art work with that being said the first baseset shadowless first edition took only 12 years to become a 50 thousand dollar card. Its only been a year and it's sky rocketting through the roof with legit reasons. The pop is low, charizards always how theri value and this time we have art that goes along with these amazing cards. And to my knowledge creating another reprint set is just rumor and limited exposure and hitting the right cards which the rate is bad enough hitting them like this basically has all you can ask for for in terms of rarity, familiarity, throw backs, hype, etc. Its only been one year card in a psa 10 had more then doubled its price... and there's so many arguments supporting it going up
I heard Pokemon Center 151 ETB can cure cancer.
You have so much distain for stellar crown. It all boils down to the lapras not getting an SiR, which I understand but it’s a lot better than you’re thinking/feeling. Don’t let resentment cloud your judgement man.
And I actually don’t dislike stellar crown. I don’t think it’s great, but I’ve had a lot of fun opening it.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing in the set that keeps bringing me back
I bought the 151 pc etb at release for retail. What a growth in numbers. I have 4 cases of the poster collections too, at $13.16 a per box.

I just started collecting last month. I’m just going to skip the 151 set honestly, unless it comes down. I’m happy with having all the other sets from scarlet and violet
There are articles where Pokemon is quoted saying it’s their “holiday set”. Tbh I think it’s going to be reprinted big time for Christmas.

What does everyone think of Vivid Voltage and if it'll come back is everyone over Chucky Pikachus now that the Surging Sparks are pretty cool looking
seems like people sleep on vivid voltage overall
@luckerooni1153 that sucks I'm 36 so I grew up with the base set and I like that feel with the V's and Vmax added in do you think it's because it seems the rainbow pikachu is the only "chase" card that's not my opinion I think there's a lot of sick cards in that set

Everyone is still overhyping and fomo’ing surging sparks. It’s a solid set. Not that amazing. People watch the surging videos because to many people want to validate the money they’ve already dumped into the set before it was even revealed. I think you and many others are coping surging into this “amazing” set. It’s not.
It’s not for everyone but you can’t argue with what’s happening before our eyes and it is not a cabal of investors although it is easy to think that is so when you watch these kinds of channels. We are a fraction of a fraction of the hobby
I still feel a 151 reprint is coming next year. I don't see a reason why they wouldn't. It's making them so much money
Its the logical thing for them to do, but Pokemon Company doesn't always make the right moves lol...
