It's like shooting with your eyes closed. There are cases when we create same content for multiple pages. End of the day the people are getting what they have searched for. All of the websites are following this pattern. Now what happens is that there is no specific results for these keywords and search result is showing unrelated contents.
It’s so hard to know at this stage. All I know is that historically Google over-egg what they actually do. But then they are not always this assertive in their guidance so will be interesting to see what happens
I have seen keywords drop in ahrefs but traffic remains about the same so I am guessing they were low traffic keywords. Crossing my fingers as we move through this update. good video!
It will be interesting see what buttons the google search monkeys have pressed this time, page level signals instead of site-wide signals does sound better to me.
I suppose we are all guessing until we see the results. I'd like to think they will do better with this update than the last few but I don't have a huge amount of confidence in them.
LOL, this is absolutely hilarious! Seems like everyone's in a tizzy over these 'SEO' updates. Me? I'm just sitting back with a big bowl of popcorn because it seems I've been Google's 'Most Wanted' since the dawn of the digital age. My line of work? The gospel. My content's been on the 'Thou Shalt Not Rank' list since, like, forever. Watching the virtual heavens unleash fury with updates targeting the 'spammy' has become my guilty pleasure. But hey, they can't hush the good news-we've got loudspeakers for the Word. So let 'em hurl all the fire and brimstone they want, tech overlords. We've been rocking this boat since the internet was just a sea of dial-up tones!
Sure will be interesting to see what happens Mike. Already a fair few people claiming their sites have been deindexed by Google - will they dare to do this with the large newspapers? Maybe... I mean they have been warned.
Please tell me, do u think my small blog about reading books and journaling can survive? I'm a full time uni student and have limited time to waste on a blog that will not make it. Asking for advice, tips, and opinions
It’s tough right now to solely rely on Google traffic. Sounds like it could be a good niche for social and video format too maybe. I’d say it’s never a waste of time as you’ll likely learn from the process. But definitely build social followings alongside the blog.
Interesting! I have a question about this. Let's say I create a unique piece of content and share that on LinkedIn with a backlink to my site, and then have similar piece of content on my own website, is that seen as parasite SEO? Or what is considered a bad practice of parasite SEO in Google's eyes?
I guess it depends on whether Google think the content is written to be helpful to humans or just to rank and generate traffic - that's hard to determine anyway. If both are unique then there shouldn't be an issue. Personally, I'd say it would be natural to write about a topic on LinkedIn and link that to your website content (if relevant). Where it would be seen as parasite is if you are writing about a totally unrelated topic - e.g. best skin lightening cream and then trying to leverage the power of LinkedIn's authority to rank the page and make sales. IF you were a skin expert then that would make sense - if it's just for affiliate sales and you have no niche expertise then that would be seen as bad.
LinkedIn is working still for this and I guess that’s classed as a social media site. It it’s basically any high powered site that you can post content on and piggyback off their power.
AI is unoriginal content though! AI is straight up plagiarized information so when Google says it is targeting unoriginal content, it means AI. It's like saying google are targeting vehicles but as long as you have a car you should be ok. A car is a vehicle. AI is unoriginal. Same = same
@@internationalgreenkeepers Yes, I'd say it's concerning if you are not showing up for your brand name search. These latest updates have been beyond brutal though for niche sites
@@TheAffiliateSchool I misspoke. Let me rephrase with why. I will likely never be hit. I am in the Local SEO game where if you do things mostly white hat you can win. Most of the March Update generally speaking was targeting everything other than Local.

Hello 🌔
Pay attention to video editing also.
This is quite low, edit in good style.
Because it is very important in your video.
Agree at heart. 🍉
Definitely yes. 🌅
Yes, video editing is definitely low. 🌶️
Interesting to hear these perspectives Jason. Let's see how this plays out.

Lots of keywords and pages dropping and then coming back a day or two later also - I think a long way to go yet. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I'm excited to see what happens to the likes of Forbes etc! I think they'll be fine, but the newspapers allowing paid posts are going to see drops.

It'll be interesting too to see how Reddit pages get ranked.
@@jc4evur661 for sure - personally I think Reddit will keep rankings but it's a guessing game right now
Can you explain the Aged domain (hack) or is there another video on your page
I definitely have videos on this if you search for them on my channel page

Hold on, it's going to be a rough ride 🤣
I guess it can't get any worse, right? 😉
We are used to it by now surely 😂 If you don't laugh, you cry

Not from what I've seen so far

+50K pages of unique content and now 0 clicks, fuck google. My mistake for not using AI to spit out garbage
Sorry to hear this. You are not alone
here we go. lets see what happens
It's going to be an interesting ride for sure
Spam sites are ranking I instead of reducing and related posts are being deindexed 😢
Serps still not great that’s for sure
Well Google need to take a closer look at March 7 2024 "Google" home page Lola Beltran's 92nd Birthday Gif animation. That mic action seems Rated X
Is parasite SEO using social media sites?

A car is a vehicle. AI is unoriginal. Same = same
Yet Google are happy to plagiarise our content with SGE
@@TheAffiliateSchool hopefully that changes as places like the NY Times win their court cases.
My whole website has been nailed, I can't even find my home page on Google and don't have any AI content
Is your home page still indexed when you do a site: search for it on Google?
