I was thinking of P!nk’s rendition of Me & Bobby McGee while listening to this. P!nk lost all of her raspiness when she quit smoking, but that separation between her and Lzzy’s voices would be ideal, like Lzzy and Amy on Break In.
This is around the time she posted about having some vocal issues on twitter, said her voice changed some and she had to go to a vocal coach to learn how to deal it. I think it improved her voice honestly, but she cant hit all the notes she used to. It should be on her blog site.
slngblde she actually wrote about it on their website/ blog. She said that she thought she formed nodules but her vocal coach told her her vocal cords were going through a process of maturing because of her age. It’s like a puberty for girls where our voices change so she started talking really squeaky at first and couldn’t control it.
