How cool is that 😎 Talk about climbing from the bottom to the top 🔝 Anyway, I think you should listen to another Swedish friend, Tommy Johansson and his covers (former bassplayer in Majestica) He's voice is out of this world, and he's a multiplayer and does the bass, drums and the guitar in his videos! She's gone, future world and you raise me up of is in my opinion the very best, but Aces high, Phantom of the opera, and over the hills is also very good, but he has many amazing covers on his RUclips account, check them up and please do some reactionvids of them please 🙏 Greetings from Sweden ❤️
Thank you! Erik does a thing on his channel which is a livestream called Gronwall Encore. He basically talks about a particular cover he has done. He said he was going through cancer treatment at the time and that he had no hair and looked way younger. He's great!
Erik has an amazing voice and considering this was recorded during his chemotherapy, it's just...WOW. He also recorded "Breaking The Silence" with Dan Vasc and "Carolus Rex" with Tommy Johansson. Both are great.
He had recently had a bone marrow transplant and chemo when he recorded this, which is why he was very under weight and no hair in this video, he had a band called H.E.A.T. before and he had longer hair and was in better shape obviously, chemo sucks.. The dude is a resilient fighter. Nothing but respect for this dude... There are a ton of video's of him singing with Skid Row live and he did record an album with Skid Row called the Gangs all here, it's good.
He was going through chemo at this time, battling leukemia, and his hair fell out. He sure looks a little frail in these old videos. He stated somewhere that he started recording covers off his favorite songs to fall back in love with music (and life?) again. Amazing vocalist, and I am glad you found him. So glad he is recovering nicely as well.
