Another video I watched said to measure (width) at the top, middle and bottom as well as the height, in this video it says just to measure the top (width) straight across once, and measure all 3 sides of height, left middle and right and give the longest height? So, for example: i measure the top(width) write it down. I measure all 3 sides for height, then choose the longest and write it down? Why do the other videos measure left across, middle, and right, and yours is only across at the top?
You are correct. With most inside mounts, it is recommended to measure width at the top, middle and bottom of your window opening to ensure your shade fits the narrowest width. However, because a roller shade drops into a single roll of fabric, measuring at the top will ensure it will fit within the window frame and give you maximum window coverage when lowered. With harder window treatments (like wood blinds) it is more important to measure width in three places.
Hey Brian, we just need the exact measurements of your window opening (down to the 1/8") for an inside mount. For more instructions please visit www.blindsgalore.com/measuring or feel free to give us a call!

If I need my blind 23X84 is that what I send in? or do I need to add inches to my width?
