    I felt like DS2 was the perfect combination of horror, scare, and action. As well as feeling the outbreak on a bigger scale. It blends old with new well. My only gripe is that Issac seemed more annoyed than scared when he would die. Like the screams from the first were brutal! The second one sometimes he didn't even bother to scream when his limbs got chopped off or he would just make a groan. Other than that. The game was always my favorite of the series.

      Agreed blends horror and action perfectly just like the first game but unfortunately the same thing can't be said about dead space 3

    I do hope that they make Dead Space 2 Severed story joined with the main story have Gabe Weller and Lexine Weller work together with Isaac especially since it was stated that Gabe Weller and Isaac did known each other on the Ishimura. Not saying be together all the time but only enough for one part of the story because Lexine could have a important role in the Dead Space story if given the chance.
    Speaking of characters, I do agree of giving more characterization to Hans Tiedmann as I feel he should have been a overarching threat for Isaac and if he really wanted Isaac dead he should sent a unstoppable Terminator like robot to kill Isaac or hell, send in Oracles to kill Isaac. Remember the old Overseer dude from DS: Aftermath he could play a important role the DS2 remake and maybe even the Dead Space 3 remake. Lastly, make the DS2 Remake have more references and connections to Dead Space Aftermath and the Dead Space Mobile game with Vandal and Tyler, and the Dead Space Salvage comic to tie-in.

    Maybe have the Ubermorph to appear much more earlier in the DS2 Remake instead of making it like a last minute boss fight.

    Ultimately the real big question is could they remake Dead Space 3 better than the original, I know that a remake of Dead Space 2 will be great but what about EA's original sin? would they actually give Dead Space, the true ending it deserves or are they just gonna mess up again?

    Oh I so want RE2 Remake to happen as well. With what they did in 1st game, t his could be a master piece. Though I don't think they can do it one co-joined Area same as Ishimura, but they could separate it to thirds RE2R style which imo woul work well. Like Area A Sprawl Residential Area which would end wwith Church of Unitology. Area B Industrial Area with all the engineering stuff you do, solar tower and mining area and then Last area C the Goverment Sector.
    Tbh I would also like them to tone down the action set pieces just a little tiny bit to get it closer to atmosphere of DS1, let's be honest what happened to DS3 had its roots in DS2.
    Anyway another great video. Thanks.

      I think they could have something more akin to RE2, if you ask me-there are ways to have areas accessible before we hit the equivalent of NEST - the government sector. Yeah, there are areas that would serve more-or-less as self contained levels, but its ENTIRELY possible I think to have central locations that can still be utilized. Also, what happened in DS3 was, I think, more a product of its time (RE6 came out a lil before it)

      @ShotJon Год назад

      @@mrjtfang2 Well RE2 had it 3 areas as I suggested. Yes you can go from sewers back to Police station, but that is a semi-secret and it is failry easy to miss that. You could probably do it similarly in DS2 remake.

      I think separate areas could work really well, the question will be how far they will dare to stray from the original game, but yeah a tad spookier like DS1 and just open up the areas a bit for backtracking and it could be like a whole new game

      @@TheUnchartedProtocol I would hope they add a hair bit more ambition myself. We could use a few real bossfights with the Tormenter

    Dead Space 2 is still wild... What? Dead Space doesnt need remakes, needs to progress the franchise... What a lame excse to profit lazily, giving game a total facelift... game's barely old.
    Capcom has over 40 years of history, from arcades, to home console, to full catalogs on PC. Resident Evil is a long storied franchise that matters... And so could have Silent Hill, Dead Space, The Evil Within and many others... But the publishers behind those games are absolutely greedy morons, who will force expectations on niche games, and in some cases it they can't milk them on a Fifa level, they pull the plug on them... Capcom never did that,which is why it has a good 20 years of history over all these other publishers...
    Dead Space 2 is phenomenal as it is, dead space 3 could have been amazing if EA didnt force needless features, and Dead Space 4 could have been absolutely killer... It's the reason i dont give a crap about a Dino Crisis remake, as big a fan of capcom as i am... Games in a vacuum that tried to build up to something, and never did ultimately, why on earth would i want to return to something inconclusive just because it's shinier? To give EA my money? hell no. Dead Space would have easily been my second favourite actionb horror franchise.. I can't be bothered to play the remake, or whatever remake of 2 they plan... Those games work fine still.
    Now resident evil 4, yes please, then resident evil 1, remake it again, even if the remake is my fav RE entry, even after the remake of 4, make more resident evil, it's a franchise that stood tall, and stood up everytime it faltered, they deserve it for always being there, regardless of what winds blew in the market. Capcom games are old enough to matter.
